Me

FX1 "Wing of terror"

I am a Spit 16 driver but i can fly anything always up for something new but the spit 16 is the best tool for my trade. I came from AW and am a life player i did take a brake and started back up in tour 54. What i love is the community of AH and the skill level needed to become a average stick. Really dont talk on vox much our on 200 but enjoy my squad chatter and love to be insulted on 200 daily. AH for me is the best "bang for the buck" in my entertainment budget each month.

1. Furball/Ash kicker - keep my advantage and let them climb to their death. Our have the disadvantage and work for a reversal, depends on my mood and buzz level.
2. I fly somewhere around 30 to 80 hours in a camp
3. Very aggressive but can be timid capping a field
4. Extra Ammo!!!!!
5. I like to go into a fight around 6000 to 8000 feet
6. I always go for the dar bar "bring it on"
7. Late war most of the time
8. DA TA H2H mid late were the fight is but i never DA mad
9. I vulch and i am proud of it but lately i have been getting vulched
10. RTB haha 10 our nothing unless i am over my field

CorkyJr 80th Headhunters.

Fly about 30-40 hours a month.
Dedicated 38G driver.  (Made a promise to myself back in AW that if I ever got an early small intake 38 in a flight sim, that's all I'd fly. Stuck to it pretty well)

Find the biggest red dar bar and wade right in. Turn fighting is much more fun to me then BNZ.
I've helped cap a base on occasion but don't get any joy from a vulch so avoid those for the most part.  Won't claim to have never vulched but rarely.  More likely to base defend then ever base capture.

I'm afraid of heights so I tend to stick to 10K or lower, mostly lower.  I'd rather have em come down to me and try and avoid the first pass and get them to turn with me.

Rarely RTB.  Best I ever did was 7 air to air.  Once in AW and once in AH.  I'm lucky if I get 2-3 kills before I'm 38G parts.  I could care less about 'attaboys'.  I think they're silly and pointless for the most part.

Spray and pray is my motto.

Prefer Midwar but will fly the other arenas.  Won't fly my G in EW cause it's perked and I don't fly perk planes.  otherwise I'm in the 38G in MW or LW.

I've only DA'd a couple of times for fun.  Just not that good to worry about it.

Biggles "71 Squadron"

I fly everything and do everything but I'm mainly a Furballer type. i usually fly pretty much every plane in the game once a month, i like the variety, I'd get really bored with one plane all the time, but my *baby* has t=been the spit 5 since i started :) Right now I'm quite into machine guns (cannons are for dweebs, i'll take a set of 50 cals over some quad cannons any day) I frequently fly the 47-D11 the F6f, P51s and hurri 1

1. I do everything, long missions in big jugs and ponies with a wingie, or dive into a cloud of lgays nikis and spixteens in something funky (SBDs and D3A's are good fun in furballs :D

2. I don't have loads of time to play, i average maybe 15 hours a tour

3. I fly 'smart' sometimes, but usually i'm down in the weeds :)

4. Sometimes i take a few bombs for playing with the GVs, but most of my fighter sorties i try to take as much fuel as a can without overdoing it. I'd like to think I'm a fair shot, so i usually run out of fuel before i lose my ammo (especially in 50 cal rides)

5. It depends on who I'm flying against, but usually i fly in at around 5-8K but if the fight is high i like to be atleast equal in energy as the horde, unless it's only a few enemies that i have to worry about

6. Into the red every time, usually alone or way ahead of any help lol. where's the fun in flying with packs of kill stealing new guys :) ?

7. I fly all arenas but i prefer the early and mid, because you get better fights in there with nicer guys with far more class than the average bum in the LW :(

8. I help out in the TA a lot, seeing what i can do to help the trainers here and there, taking care of the day care, but every now and then you get someone who really wants to learn, and i have a lot of fun teaching them. I love DA duels as well, lots of rapid fast paced fights with good pilots is what i PAY for :)

9. I do vulch sometimes, but only if I'm feeling particularly cruel and if there are too many guys for me to keep track of in an actual fight. I dont vulch in early or mid, and if it's just me and a few others having some friendly fights near a field, i let them up and let them grab plenty of E first, especially if i like em :)

and 10. I'm a greedy pig, i usually hold out for a big number before i RTB, i usually end up dying with a big tally, but hey, i have fun doing it :) different of course if i'm bingo fuel or damaged etc.

and that pretty much sums me up :)

I like to fly almost every plane in the game at least a few times a month. I rarely ever fly the YAK because I suck in it. I also hate the p40. I mostly fly the 38J, and the Hurri MkI (175 convergence and let er' rip!!!!)

1. Always depends on what my objective is. Sometimes I buff hunt BnZ style, but mostly I look for the DF. Also depends on what I'm flying.

2. I play at least an hour or 2 everyday. Usually.

3. Trying to get smarter about my play. I use to just charge headlong into whatever was going down. I'm trying to work on my SA and actually trying to survive to land.

4. I carry eggs if in attack mode. I don't mess with rockets anymore. I always carry extra fuel when in a 38.

5. Depends on what I'm flying. 38 I climb. The MkI I rarely get above 10k.

6. Almost always look for the most action.

7. A little bit of each arena.

8. Don't do much DA, though I have been there. I only TA when someone asks.

9. I'll vulch, but only if most of the ack is down.

10. I rtb when I'm bingo fuel or ammo. Sometimes I hotpad.

1. Are you a bzn pilot our a furball twist and turn.
A) Depends on how much I've had to drink, mainly a t&b I guess.

2. Do you fly 100 hours our 2 hours.
A) I probably average around 15-30 hours per month.

3. Aggressive our smart could be both.
A) More aggresive than passive.

4. Do you carry eggs our extra ammo.
A) I never remember to load eggs

5. Fly at 5000 feet our 25000 feet.
A) Anywhere from 50' to 25k is fine with me.

6. See a large red dar bar and go for horde our run and find a better fight.
A) Definately grab around and go for incoming dar bar.

7. Do you fly late war our early war.
A) I like all the arenas but you'll find me on LW most of the time.

8. Do you da our ta.
A) If asked I'll go.

9. Vulch our a nonVulcher
A) That's a tough one...if it's just me at the base and one or two guys are upping I'll let them up and play...otherwise at a capped field I'll vulch the crap outta you :D

10. rtb with 10 our 2
A)I don't rtb too much and having kills usually isn't why I would anyway.

1. Are you a bzn pilot our a furball twist and turn.

TnB twisty flyer

2. Do you fly 100 hours our 2 hours.

between 10 and 30 hours a month

3. Aggressive our smart could be both.

aggresive unless im flying a goon.

4. Do you carry eggs our extra ammo.

i dont see many planes that have extra ammo options aside from 109s. i hardly ever take bombs, sometimes i do use drop tanks

5. Fly at 5000 feet our 25000 feet.

5000 maximum. prefer to be attacked from above than to Bore n Snore all sortie.

6. See a large red dar bar and go for horde our run and find a better fight.

there is no better fight than vs the horde. the horde is my most favorite thing to be under.

7. Do you fly late war our early war.

early or midwar for me, i can't stand all  the boring, EZ mode spitfire 16 dweebs in late war. :p

8. Do you da our ta.

almost everyday

9. Vulch our a nonVulcher

vulching is cute and fund!1 on the other hand it depends who is lifting, and how many enemy there are. i never fly through a bunch just to vulch, but after a long fight that pushed enemy to thier field i will happily shoot them on the runway.

10. rtb with 10 our 2

i almost never RTB with 10 or 2. i usually auger when i run out of ammo, fuel, or plane parts to get to the next fight quicker.  i will land if i am near my base and not pressed for time.
400 yrds on my tail, right where i want you... [/size]

Im the poor sucker that the 80th steal all their kills from.

Aside from that.... i spend at least half of my AH time in TA or DA, either helping others along or picking up plane parts. If you ask me to, i do just about anything - fly La7, do a supply run, hide troops for half an hour to take a base or switch teams to help defend the base i just attacked. If you see a low HMk1 heading for a full sector of red dar, high chances are thats me. I guess that also answers the "smart" question.

Vulching..... hmmm..... i wont say i never did it. But i can honestly say, i never had fun doing it, so its a pretty rare thing to see me do. Have a guy i just let take off shoot me is way more common.

Theres only one sort of egg i know - the scrambled kind for breakfast. Extra ammo on the other hand is always a good thing... im a pretty crappy shot.

Have you ever seen a HMk1 BnZ? That should answer your question :).

As for RTB.... you can actually LAND in this game? OK, in all honesty... i do land every now and then. But give me a reason (and that might just be asking me on 200) and ill turn back to die - even if that takes a while with no ailerons left.

But rest assured that my AH gravestone carries this inscription: Heute ist nicht alle Tage, ich komm wieder, keine Frage! (roughly: Today isnt the end of the matter... ill be back, no doubt about it!)

i try to turn no matter what im flying so usually i stick to the f6f, or f4f if im in ew

i thinkk 30-40 hours

aggressive .. i look for the red bar

most times im light ..depends if im with squad attack

i dont like going over 10k ..id fly on the deck if i had the skill to back it up

mw first then ew .. lw if i have to

never been asked to da .. but i should go to ta to learn some stuff

not good at vulching wont do it unless its a base capture situation

i rtb when I can ..its part of the "immersion factor" for me (if there was a spot on the base where I could click to lean back in an easy chair and light up a big ole cigar after a mission I would click it)

do i love the game --ABSOsquealingLUTELY :aok :aok

1. Are you a bzn pilot our a furball twist and turn.

Depends on the situation. I'm almost exclusively in F4Us, so if it's a large fight I try to stay fast and high, but if it's only a couple planes or 1v1 I'll wade right in and let the Corsair Wonder Flaps (TM) do their work.

2. Do you fly 100 hours our 2 hours.

Varies from month to month.

3. Aggressive our smart could be both.

Again, depends on the situation.

4. Do you carry eggs our extra ammo.

Ordinance only if I'm looking to pork something. Corsair doesn't get multiple ammo options.

5. Fly at 5000 feet our 25000 feet.

My favorite approach altitude is 15,000. Not too much going to be above me and generally ensures I'll have an altitude advantage, but not ludicrous alt-monkey high.

6. See a large red dar bar and go for horde our run and find a better fight.

How big is the blue dar? I won't get horded. It's not fun to me being one green plane in a sea of red. I also don't like to be IN the horde unless I'm jabboing, or it's the tail end of a base capture. I prefer fights that have large red AND blue bars. Lots of friendlies means someone is bound to cover my six. Lots of red means plenty of targets to go around.

7. Do you fly late war our early war.

Late War

8. Do you da our ta.

DA no, TA only occasionally if I want to try something new, like practice a new ACM

9. Vulch our a nonVulcher

It's called base suppression, and I'll do it if it's needed. However usually by the time I spot a roller, some guy in an ElGay or Dora comes zipping down and nails him before I can dive low enough to fire. I don't go out of my way to vulch.

10. rtb with 10 our 2

Depends on how much gas or ammo I have left, or the situation. If I've got the gas or ammo for one or two more passes, I hang in there. If all the other green planes have died and there's 5-6 red left it's time to check out.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

1. Are you a bnz pilot our a furball twist and turn.
Depends on what I'm up against.

2. Do you fly 100 hours our 2 hours.
Depends on my work schedule and how much fun I'm having. Sometimes I'll spend all day in one arena, sometimes I bounce around bored until I log off and find something else to do.

3. Aggressive or smart could be both.
Depends on the sit. With good wingies I'll dive in hair on fire, alone or with guys I don't "trust" I'm more conservative.

4. Do you carry eggs or extra ammo.
DTs and full ammo.

5. Fly at 5000 feet our 25000 feet.
Usually cruise at about 15K and come down to the fight. Much higher than that I'm not into it. Prefer to fight down and dirty though, as long as I'm the one dropping to the enemy, not getting dropped on :)

6. See a large red dar bar and go for horde or run and find a better fight.
The more the merrier. I love being the only Rook in a Bish-Nit (for example) fight. Target-rich environment. :)

7. Do you fly late war our early war.
Mid.

8. Do you da our ta.
Neither.

9. Vulch our a nonVulcher
Kill em wherever you find them, especially if they won't come out of the ack.

10. rtb with 10 our 2
Whenever I run out of fuel, ammo, or parts. Number of kills don't matter, I just want to land.
Treize (pronounced 'trays')- because 'Treisprezece' is too long and even harder to pronounce.
