« on: November 10, 2006, 03:53:41 PM »
anyone know what driver works best.  91. series no good.  84. series has problem handling 1220x 900 on a 24 inch, starts geting artifacts after awhile, especiaally with a ground vehicle which actually will cause a lock up.

Help!!!!!

Well I've run the 88.44-whatevers. They work fine. They came with the card on the CD-ROM. Then I tried 91.xx-something, and they worked fine. Now I'm testing 93.71 (which are listed as WHQL certified) and I've got no problems except at 8xS FSAA, which makes clipboard dots into rectangles. Dropping down to 4x FSAA solves this.

They do not work in SLI mode..serious vert synch problems.  I had to go back to the old CD 84.21 driver.  I think the problem is with sli mode.  The new drivers work ok in single GPU mode .

Since  my asus an8 sli delux has nvidia chip sets, I cannot just remove all nvidia drivers...did that once and it trashed all my networking and everthing you can think of.

The 84.21 drivers lock up at low altitude or when driving GVs.

Help!

Ah, sorry. I didn't know you were using SLI. I only have the 1 card so I have not tested and cannot testify to SLI drivers. Sorry.

However, my CD-ROM came bundled with 88.44 (I think) so it might do to give that a try.
