Not long after the BOB [EDIT: Okay not "right after" but it was fairly quick in the long term war scale] the LW came out with a 90-round drum for the MG/FF gun. It was the same size and fit on the same gun, but by re-ordering the shells inside they were able to fit more inside it. The 190s mostly had the 90-round drum option, arriving later in the war. Especially by the time the 190A5 showed up (it was the last plane to use MG/FF before going to MG151/20s in the outboard position).

I've put in a wishlist post on the matter once or twice, but it was probably years ago. I thought I'd just request it again.

The only changes needed would be:

1) Change the value that says how many rounds the plane has in that gun
2) change the weight for this gun option to reflect 60 more rounds total

That's correct. They're identical to the 109E-4's guns right now. They don't really fire for very long, they are the weakest 20mm in the game, with the worst trajectory, so I think we need the extra 30 rpg just to make up for this.

I just recently heard of perk ordinance.

Yes 90rnd MG-FFs should be added, but it should fall in the "perk ordiance" category.

Why? It was the NORM... So you'd perk the 7mms on the C202?

You'd perk the gondolas on any 109?

You'd perk the 30mm option on the 109G-14, when in fact 1/3 to 1/2 of all of them had it?

You'd perk the 6-gun option on the p51D? Well it's got a 4-gun option, right? That must be the standard one, it has less!

90 RPG was the standard for the MGFF when used in 190s. They were dropped for MG121/50s in the A6 and later versions, but those that had the MGFF (A5 and prior) had 90 RPG more than they had 60 RPG.

Take it easy on the "perk that option!" histeria, IK3.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I don't want a 60 rpg option AND a 90 rpg option. I want the 60 rpg corrected to reflect 90 rounds.
