For the traditionalists:  A traditional war arena, with the older large maps, and traditional game dynamics.

For the progressives: The new war arenas with all of the new perk systems and so forth.

With such an arena setup the Aces High administration will be able to study what type of game play is most desired by their customers.  The more customers that receive what they enjoy the most, the more revenue the game will generate.  After all, doesn't it have something to do with customer satisfaction?

Ideally, all arenas will be populated as both the traditionalists and the progressives will be satisfied, and unlike real war, everyone wins.

Unfortunatley you do not have the POPULATION to pull this off with any real chance of success.

AHII does not have the population to fill 1 early, 1 mid, 2 late, and 1 A&A arena (not counting SEA, TA, and HTH) as it is to any degree to make for a good fight in all of them.  And with multiple arenas, you don't have the population to fill a large arena map.... they were often sparse much of the time in old MA.

I agree we need more maps, but with multiple arenas, large maps would be sparsely populated.  Is it possible to take some of the large maps and crop them down for insertion into the rotation?  How about a couple senerio maps.... maybe not the best balanced maps, but I'd rather have the variety than a completely level playing field (which is a bogus argument anyway when 1 side outnumbers the others by 20+ pilots, or 2 countries gank the third anyways....).  Coral sea, Europe, Asian maps, western or eastern fronts.

Although there is some interest in the early and mid war, many people will follow the crowd to a better fight --- I like mid myself, but if there is only 60 pilots there, I'll go late for a better fight).  maybe it is time to cut this down to 1 late war arena with a decently high population cap the server can still handle, and alternate the early and mid war arenas to concentrate some of the population.

A super idea!!!

One arena to have fun with your friends just like the old days. Call it "Aces High II Arena"?

One arena to play King of the hill in. Call it "Aces High III"?

1 addition roach in YOUR "traditionalist arena" ..

NO score tabulation and perk tabulation.
See how long score/milkrun  tards play in it.
