Was wondering.
I recall reports that the elevator on the 109s had just as much down authority as up authority.
Meaning you should get nearly the same response with down as with up.
In AH1 this SEEMED to be the case.
The manuver I have heard attributed to Hartmann..........
reduce throttle full left forward stick and full left rudder was reported to give a 109 pilot something sorta like a reverse snap roll??????????
I could preform this manuver, or something that seemed like it in AH1.
Ever since the introduction of AHII down elevator in a 109 just seems to mush around and does very little???????????????????????
Was wondering what happened to the 109s elevator?
