Okay kids, I need your help. So I am flying around a base that is being caped by my countrymen. I figured I don't want to be down on the deck with 10 other guys trying to vulch the one idiot trying to take off. So I decide to grab a bit and head towards the closest enemy base to intercept any bad guys coming to join the fray.
I spot one friendly down on the deck fighting and a dot that is coalt coming my way. The friendly looks to be doing okay so I grab a little to intercept the con. He comes into icon range and its a Jug. "Great!!!" I think as I am driving a P47N and I love going up against another jug pilot. I have maybe 1k of alt on him so I dive to get some speed and wep it up. I pull in low on his 6 and see his drop tank drop off. Right on!!! a good fight. We twist and turn a few times and I can't get a firing solution. However I am still locked on his six. Now I see a few shots come over my shoulder and realize a friendly pony has joined in on the fun. Personally I would have liked it to stay a one on one but to late now. Now I just need to beat the pony to the kill!
The jug goes low and I follow, he then pulls vertical and I think "I got him now!" All of a sudden the icon goes bye bye.....the yellow bastage bailed!! I watched the film afterwards and not one hit had been landed on him. He was in a perfectly good airplane. As I come over the top I look down and see a chute. So what did I do? I filled the darn thing full of 50 cals!!!
Now here in lies the ethical dilemma. Chute shooting is just not something I do. So the question is... If someone bails just because they were stupid enough to get their arse in a bad situation, can you, or should you, turn the cute into a sieve, or let him keep it in one piece to fashion himself a nice flying dress.
