Yes very funny when introducing a new system apparently nobody seems to want ;)

The first few days Orange was the most populated arena by a big margin, until people went back to Blue...

Why are these caps higher than Blue. I pay my money to play this game monthly, but why should I pay if I cant play where I want to. I am not a fan of the top three, but it will not let me in Blue. Oh yeah it is 12:08 Central.

When a LW arena resets and shows 0 players, it skews the remaining one so you can have 200 players in a 120 limit arena. Woe is anyone who disco's, blue screens etc or even just temporarily logs cos you've just lost the ability to get back in.

I've run into this problem several times myself and I agree with ghst on this. On 12/8/06, I logged on at 7:35 p.m. eastern and Blue arena was full.  226/220 capacity and I couldn't get in.   I came back at 8:10 p.m. and the arena was still full.  The only difference was the numbers: 267/220 and I couldn't get in.

If the caps on these arenas are supposed to be "self-adjusting" then to quote a movie: "Houston, we have a problem."  

Why not increase the capacity to 500 or even 700 per arena and let the people decide where and how they prefer to play.  Hopefully the numbers would give a more accurate idea of preferences.

The former Main Arena had a cap of 750. On 9-13-06, HTC split the arenas into what they are now. Search the forums as to why HTC altered his game they way he did.

What I find frustrating is that folks largely DONT want to fight, and wander about in borg cubes--even in Orange arena Fri night--9 bases in play with latest setting, not 1 fight--every base in play was swarmed by 1 country, ignoring its own bases which were being swarmed elsewhere. The only way to MAKE people fight (and not horde together and dominate #) is to force side balanxing at arena level, then  make them all fly to one place:aok

Just remember... there were / are NO fights going on in LW blue tonite...

You gotta go to orange for fights!

yeah,... whatever... no, we need orange to create fights... either I am completely noob and dont know wtf I'm talking about, or I found plenty of fights every 2 minutes in blue..

You have obviously no idea what "relaxed realism" is....  Oh, I get it your trying to"big ya self up".

I have only used Orange last week and this week for the test/s.  1 base was to restrictive but the newer version is a "little" more acceptable.  You still find yourself fighting for or defending the same base all night. :(  

Dunno if that's good for customer retention.  It's ideal for the short term "hook" of new players or for the furballer with just 30 minutes to play.  45 second flight to fight.....woooohoooo:rolleyes:

Slap me old fruit I don't know if you have monitored the arena numbers this week but LWb has consistently had more players than ANY OTHER arena.  Of all the arenas choices now graciously given us why would that be ?  Why would the MAJORITY of the player base favour LWB ?

Before you answer see Hubs for the "brasso".  His wrists are prolly worn out so you'll have to shine your own trumpet before you blow it :lol

The point of the post is about choice...

Having a choice of how you wish to play is part of the fun...

You want to fly EW Plane without getting pounded by La's fly EW...

You want to fly where your pretty much guaranteed longer lasting fights but with limited choice option fly LW Orange..

If you like the ability to fly all plane sets and  the map is open to whatever you want to do fly LWBlue....

It is about the choice...

I dont care how others wish to play the game, nor will I tell them how they should.

The idea is that he should have a choice as to how he chooses to have his fun not have his choice made by others with their idea of what fun should be...

I too agree with Ghst on this he should be able to choose where HE wants to play...

I could imagine if the shoe were on the other foot and those that choose or prefer to fly strictly MW or EW were forced into something like the old MA what would happen then......

Oh thats right.... we already know the answer to that one   :huh

Your idea of fun may not be mine.... nor mine yours...

Choice is all ghst was looking for nothing more.....
