im guessing "Bomber" would be the track ;)
only one buff track on my iTunes - Dambusters theme of course :D

Good advice about formations too - I keep seeing mission COs steaming ahead at 100% throttle telling the buffs 4k behind him to "keep formation" ...

I have a question about the Strat bombing. Is there any information about what the widths are of the various strat target areas?

For example, what is the distance from top to bottom or left to right of the Ammo Factory? Does anybody have these dimensions for any/all the strat targets or for the various bases?

I ask this because if the dimensions of the target areas are known I could calculate the appropriate delay and salvo for maximum destruction based on ground speed and altitude above the target area along with blast radius of the various bomb loadouts.

I would really like to have this information if anybody has this.

Later,

Trial and error regarding delay times. I use anywheres from 0.40 to 0.70 delays, and I seem to remember a target where I used 0.80 delay. Maybe the long section of radar factories, or, the s/w to n/e hit on ammo. A lot depends on speed and altitude. The ammo factory your talking about is a 0.60 with 16 250s in B-17s thats right, and I swim the stick some to maximize bombs on target. Its a 0.70 with 500's.

But I havnt bombed strats much in the last 3 months.
