DX8 Ques

I was wondering if any one is using dx8. My card is a V770U and I'm using the 4.02 drivers.  Is their any advantage/disadvantage
using dx with this card?

don't know about your card, but i installed DX8 some days ago and it solved the problems i had with my Thrustmaster Topgun (with throttle) where i couldn't use the forward hat view !!
don't know what else it added/changed ...

Its a prudent philosophy to steer clear of new microsoft releases cause the first few iterations of the version are usually buggy as hell! Or at least wait a few months till there is good public knowledge about its good points and bad points.
