I also found myself running into multiple cons knowing i was most likely going to die. but having 5 cons trying to kill you is actually very thrilling and exciting and when u are able to kill all multiple cons on you it made me laugh at how bad they were or mayby at how good i was. i played for rank a few months and i think i ended with a overall rank of 13 once, but after that i stopped playing for rank and never was scared to jump in the middle of a furball of cons.

Well with the 16 you have a better chance. People ask why i fly the 16 so much and that is a big reason why i do.

Discovered a nice trick with the 16 last month that has been working for me. Used it on a couple zekes last night but you blow E and have one shot.

I always find myself flying into a swarm of red, I usually think to myself "this is a bad idea, and next time i'll be smarter"...of course I never listen.

I'm transitioning into "fly till you die, dont even think about getting home" mode. Definite adrenaline, and ABSOLUTELY showing me how veeeery poor my instantaneous SA is, and how long it takes me to get the shot.

Might have to consider Hub's approach to pre-flight chilling. Even though I know I'm not getting home, I still have to fight getting mad at myself and the guys who kill me. Even caught myself saying over and over, "It's OK if I die, I'm practicing here, its OK, its OK.."





 

Well, either I'm saying it to myself or its the voices again....

On several occations this tour i have upped and upped from a vulched field just to get that one annoying dude that vulched me on the first attempt.

Not cause im pissed at him but for the laugh i can send him if i do get up and pwn him.... havent made it yet tho :D

Is there anywhere on these maps that you can find a fair fight these days?  Even if you do within the first few turns the guys got 5 friends joining him.  I've found myself in a lot of 1 on 10's lately.  OK, I can (hopefully) deal with an occasional 1 on 2 or 1 on 3 but this has gotten ridiculous.

Lately I can't even land a kill without joining the hoard and vulching which I don't really enjoy.

Diving into a hopeless situation is fun for a while.  At the same time I've been seeing a lot more movies lately.

Premium members can only fly in the Premium Arena right?

Premium members can't go slummin the "Minor League" MA to rack up perkpoints right? (not that they would want to....they have LA-7s in the slums)

Hell, I fly stupid everytime I play. It is my purpose to HO 190s in my spitmk1 and win :)
And as I'm sure lots of you know, I'll up at a capped field for hours just for the fun of it.
