A6M has my vote.

I have wanted it re-done for awhile now.

I think here's should happen if they start converting AH planes to AH2 standards...

A6M Zero series (A6M2 and A6M5)
*  Add the A6M3.  A6M3 is basically a short range and clipped wing A6M2.  A6M3 has the same armament as the A6M2 but 80 more cannon rounds.  A6M3 also uses a more powerful engine.

Lavochkin series (la-5 and la-7)
*  Also add the LaGG-3 (Lavochkin-Gorbunov-Goodkov).  LaGG-3 was one of USSR's main fighters in early to mid war.

Yakovlev series (Yak-9T and U)
*  Add a Yak-9 standard for 1942-43 timeframe.  As of right now we do not have a REAL mid-war Yak.

P-40 series (P-40b and e)
*  Add the P-40N.  P-40N was used in desert theater and in Burma.

Hellcat/Wildcat series (F4F and F6F)
*  Add a 1942-1943 F6F-3 variant on the Hellcat series.

N1K2-J
*  Most N1K2-Js had automatic-deploying flaps.  These should be built-in for AH2 N1K2-J

Ki-61 Tei (this version is late-war)
*  Also add Ki-61-1b.  The Ki-61-1b is a mid war Ki-61 armed with 4x 12.7 mm guns.

La5FN & La7 for me. The La5F would be a cheap third option as it would be graphicaly the same as the La5FN except for the ntake duct and the exhaust flaps.

FM wise La5F would just have less power than the La5FN unless HT wanted to model the early 5 tank version. This would extend the Lavochkin range back to Early 43.

Given HTC's ability to model stuff like bomb pylons more accurately. Coupled with a future ordinance perk system. The la7 need not be split into two differing models for its 2 and 3 cannon options and the cannon bay cover plate is just swopped when the  cannon numbers are changed.

Yaks could be opened up to a list of variants to match the Spit or the 109.

Easy 1st step would be the Yak9M. It would be a Yak9T with the 37mm swapped for a 20mm and the model could just be derived by the ordinance choice.

But with a little more work the Yak9D could be done with all its variants and then you are just one step away from the Yak7.

A very typical and representative range of Yaks

Yak1 1941 to early 43
Yak7 1942 to late 43
Yak9D 1943 to mid 44
Yak9T 1943 to mid 44 (Yak 9M 1944)
Yak3 1944 to late 45
Yak9U 1944 (late) to late 45.

"Which AH planes should be next to be remodeled to AH2 standards?"

I vote for the Mosquito, although I imagine it doesn't get enough use to justify spending limited resources on it. The prop spinner in particular looks very angular and old-fashioned. As with the La5 mentioned above, it hopefully shouldn't be too hard to spin off some alternative Mosquitos if the basic model was fixed up.

I'm sure the HTC staff are beavering away at the aircraft you least expect. I reckon they're working on the Ki-61. Or would that be *too* obvious? If it turns out like the new Corsairs it should be fantastic.

Based upon the recent update of the F4Us, I'd wager that the F6F-5 is next, with the F6F-3 being added. Followed by the Zeros and possibly the Wildcats or P-40s. The only guys outside of HTC who know will be the ones doing the initial skins, and they're not going to spill the beans.
