Last night some members of the 56th and I uped a 5 plane jug sorty....We survived several hordes and Executed Textbook Wingman Tactics.... Originally I wasnt planning on making it back home in one piece, but once I saw that we were all halfway through the sorty I began to think:

 "Holy S***, mayb I'll  make it home for once."

 We all decided to RTB with our kills as the Furball was intensifing and we were getting low on go-go juice. I saw a lone Lanc on the Deck and decided to make a single pass on it and then continue home. Right as I got the Lanc Blukitty and the others gave me like 4 chk 6's....  Golly-gee spixteen on my arse as i was zooming back up...

Exact words that came outa my mouth were:

Mutha F***a, lemme tha F*** alone!! you F***ing peice of S***!! I tried deperately To shake this lil a-hole. Revesals, Flatspins, overshoots, u name it nothing... Just then I got wounded and I sed "aww F***!, there goes the sorty" I started to blackout and then I heard myself get hit some more and then a loud booM!....

As I recovered from the BlackOut I see Blukitty Flying WingTip to Wingtip on my right side,and all she said was:

"lol it was Peiper again :]"

as i RTB'ed on the deck next to her while the other 3 were flying high cover, all I could think of was, wow... she's my Guardian Angel :lol

I know it sounds Corny Now but that's Exactly while I was thinkin...which brings me to the Question:

If you could have One Person to Clear your 6 and you know they Would'nt Miss no matter wat kind shot it is, who would it be??

i dont have any 1 person in particular but pretty much any of my old army of muppet and most wanted buddies..

Man looks like I missed out on a lot of 56th fun last night! Had to play a gig so I spent the night in a bar full of drunks instead.

As for current players I would have to say either Blukitty or Yucca after watching them fly over the last couple weeks.

If we're talking about all the folks I have ever flown with, I would have to say an old time 56th flyer named Frenchy. Ain't seen Frenchy in quite a while, but that cat could fly a Jug better than any I have seen.

Damn, way too many to name..  13th TAS were always well organized, something which I've never been; lack the patience :D  Anyway most of the seasoned vets have excellent aim and have quite OCCASIONALLY cleared me, and I'm sure they'd easily attest to that :D, could be due to my suicidal missions..

Ill have to say to many as well.

I know the one you DONT want and thats me....I have kill shot myself so many time trying to clear a freindly. I'm great at shooting the green planes.:lol :D

I'd have to say Joedog31, If he's not around I would trust any of my squadies. the only problem is, clearing my six usually takes alot of ammo due to the fact that there always seems to be more than one after me.
