As many here have stated it can be along list. Certainly blukitty is probably about as good a gaurdian angle as you'll find. I've fought with or against just about everyone mentioned here. RedTop posted a thank you a few days ago to the 56th for letting a few of us tag along (TR, Bat, MntMan, myself and one or two other 71st). As someone mentioned above Red, MntMan,elad and I flew a few hops last night with reasonable effect....yet red and I were discussing just how impressive the 56th is...talk about a bunch who's got its $#!^ wired tight.
Truthfully I'm often the weight that drags the 71st down. I was flying of the big island early a few days ago. Red comes on squad vox asking if the DAR dot was me....yup.

I got em both but more often then not I'm the guy llistening for the cavalry.
that being said .... If your a squadie either "WE" return or we die (although we all call the others off if its gotten hopeless). You rarely see a guy from the 71st land alone (when we're flying squad ops). If your a "wingie" like MntMan same thing....If he's still flying I''m not leaving. If your a "standup" guy...Jolly is a good example (one of many) I'm not going if your not. If your "brothers in arms" 56th, 68th and other squads we rumble with then your just as important as a 71st member....
If your just a regular kniggit I check 6 clear 6 and mix it up....but once you get stupid on me I dont feel obligated to die just goes your determined to. If your a cherrypicking SOB then I root for the other guy:D
Most of the guys i'd list are already here. Bat RT Biggles Ted and the rest of the 71st. MntMan Creton Jolly sehob are just a few among many kniggits...and any of the 56th. Just like us they go as a team and land as a team....and every once in awhile die as one.
