I find it amazing when the British act like they are somehow morally superior to the US regarding Iraq.  

When they invade Iraq, just like the US.  
When they occupy Iraq, just like the US.  
When their government tried to mislead them about intelligence, just like the US.  When they re-elected that government, just like the US.

I mean hell, at least the US electorate has changed the party in power in their federal legislature.  Something the British haven't done.
