Can one of the CM's please comment?  I'm curious why the vis is so short for these 3 frames.

I'l tune them up.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I put my fogvis on 17 offline using the Japan1 map.  Looked wonderful.  However, I know you guys do things for a reason, so just wondering.

Well, truthfully, everyday is not 100% visibility. But I must say even I thought it was too low when I was in the thick of it on Friday.

Well, if I understand it correctly, fogvis affects the entire arena at all altitudes, right?  I've flown marginal VFR in the L.A. basin under 6K with CAVU above.  Its one of the things I brought up for CT, as vis on the deck and closely above can be marginal while the colder temps up top in the 20's are severe clear.  Tough for you guys to manage I'm guessing.  I'm assuming clouds and ceilings are a part of the map and not a setting, correct?  You guys do a great job providing us with tons of entertainment--must need bulletproof skin for the CM job...

Ok Nef, I know I'm probably beating a dead horse since you were flying a Pony as well tonight, but just thought I'd revisit this once more.

Fogvis set at 12 miles?

Pretty difficult to exploit the U.S. aircraft's advantages when its so difficult to see at altitude.  We blundered into a bunch of Niki's and Zero's again at 20K plus.  Luckily the speed of the Pony allowed us to blast thru relatively unscathed.
