I love it when folks get creative, JB!

What did you use?

I saw a B-17G hanging from the celing of a model shop once, it had massive battle damage and trails of cotton (or cotton balls on a string, or something) attached to distant parts of the ceiling to simulate smoke trails.

for the smoke i had taken a clothes hangar and cut it, and then cotton balls and stretched them out along the rod, then hairspray to kinda keep it together, then black spray paint , then glue to attach it to the plane itself,

Now as for the weathering effect and being all dirty , i took a metal can and stuck it over a burning candle to where it had accumulated that smut on the bottom, then a paint brush to apply that smut from the can to the plane like a powder coat, all dry of course.

Right now I'm working on a P-47D of the 302nd FS, 332nd FG of the 15th AF (The Red Tails). I'll post pictures of it once it's complete.
