Pats got lucky with the interception that was fumbled. It was obvious that San Diego was the better team. Not to mention the no call when Rivers got hit in the head after spiking the ball.

I disagree. Rivers is not a SB QB. Rivers is just an avg. QB who had an unusual remarkable and he had the luxury of having an extrememly talented RB to take the pressure off Rivers.

They should have kept Drew. Fools.

No way in hell was Drew Brees going to stay in San Diego. Brees did'nt like the coaching staff, the players or the city itself. Looks like he has found a home in Nawlins.

And let me be the first (unless somebodyelse already has) to predict Nawlins to win the Super Bowl. There are several reasons for this:

A) If the NFL is fixed, Nawlins is the Cinderella story of all Cinderella stories.

B) If it's not fixed, they have the Mojo and the momentum.

C) Because they are the best looking TEAM I have seen all year.

Trent Dilfer wasn't a superbowl QB either but he's wearing the ring. (although if the officials had gotten it right the Titans would've been in that year, but I digress) Even Tom Brady wasn't your typical gunslinger in his first superbowl. What it takes is to be efficient and Rivers definitely can do that. The team as a whole was the best the NFL has to offer. Unfortunately the AFC wasn't able to put it's two best teams in the championship game.

Had Drew Brees not torn up his shoulder last year they might've kept him. With the amount they have invested in Rivers they had to go one way or the other.

I didnt post my Picks here, but I did win the Indy-Baltimore Game.

Ripsnort thats a pretty big assumption considering Philip Rivers had one of the top 10 QB Ratings in the NFL. And is probably one of the best QBs in the NFL this year. With only 20 games and 1 post season loss under his belt, he is showing to me that he has the power to be a SB winning QB.

But I think that what the Chargers lack is an all-star Wide Out. Like the Ravens, the Chargers depend on there all star tight-end, which is ok, but on those long 3rd and Uh-Ohs you need an all star Reciever to make plays deep.

This may be the NFC's year for a Championship.

Regarding Rivers, one year....he's had one good year.

Regarding upcoming games, my head says the Colts will win, but the heart says Pats go all the way. They've been there, done that...they have nothing to lose, Colts are in the spotlight and the pressure is on Manning.

NO will easily beat the Bears IMO.

Could be worse you could have Eli.

And I would of loved to have kept Rivers and then use the pick on Merriman like the Bolts did.

Eli is in a bubble here every play is disceted by everybody. I swear in one game the announcers annointed him at least 3 times and buried him at least 4. And he always has the look like he would rather be playin aces high, then playin

Baltimore and San Diego were exposed

Baltimore's vanilla offense was pathetic, but what else can you do with immobile offensive linemen? I did not see one O-lineman leading a screen or stretch play, I can't remember seeing them even attempt one. It was off tackle, off tackle, med pass. It was so predictable it made the Colt defense look like world beaters. The better team won.

San Diego's secondary couldn't cover Reche Caldwell, nuff said. The better team won.

I will say this, if the Patriots lose next week they won't cry about the officiating, or ask for the rules to be changed and cry the better team didn't win.(like a team from Indy has)
