Maybe viking and his warrior clans can go do it this time instead.

I do hope we're victorious in Iraq.

I am unware that a victorious condition exists.

Why not just say, "Mission Accomplished" and if all of us believe it be so, then it is so.

France continually supplied the terroristic genocidal regime with weapons while swapping them for oil... I guess you people in Norway neglect to read the facts.

But hey, US bashing is still in vogue.  You should keep at it, until the next Hitler overruns your country, then you can come crying to us, AGAIN, and we will help save your liberal arses again.

FYI just about every arab state around declared that they want to go in nuclear development for "peaceful purposes" of course.

and as of yesterday iran announced they`re ready to launch their first spy satellite into orbit. if they can launch things to orbit, that means they have ICBMs.they had to add treats about their missles hitting tel-aviv in case israel attacks their nuclear sites...

i`m not posting links, these news are all over the net....

I would say you are very much "Unaware".

Things ARE starting to get better in Iraq regardless of what you and other defeatest think.

BTW thanks for another lame misuse of the "Mission Accomplished" sign.

about americans not knowing war on their own soil.
true, but they sure know what`s war,and what it cost.
as for israel...if one country knows what`s war that`s israel. and if one country was 100% behind the US invading iraq, that`s also israel.
unfortunately lessons learned by israel weren`t implemented and the USA got bogged down.
I mean: while the war of last summer with hezbollah sure wasn`t a victorious war, total victory wasn`t even an option. who belives the IDF couldn`t have marched right into beirut? or occupy the whole of lebanon and search for weapons in every house, and kill everyone that were suspected hezbollah supporters. or even march right into damascus.
no way. it would have achieved nothing.
israel occupied lebanon for many long years, and getting out of there was the best thing to do.

it`s up to the local population to make changes for themselves. not even the USofA can force a nation to understand that democracy is the the best way to live in.
BUT the USofA can make a nation to understand that if they let a maniac rule over them, who will contribute the whole nations resources to sticking up to the west, they have a lot to lose.

it`s all about live and let live. that is what the arabs need to learn. period.

well said caligula..

Who doubts the U.S. couldn't just do house to house searches and torture people till they got full cooperation?  We could find every terrorist in the country and kill them all but it would not be a much better place than the sadman built.

I don't know if arabs will ever step up to the plate and deal with modern human rights issues.   If they will ever even want the kind of freedom that we enjoy.

Caligula, is there any reason to hope for peace with Palestine these days?

Like you did last time? Ha ha ha

How many American soldiers set foot on Norwegian soil again? Ironically, if anyone saved us it was the Russians.

A little behind the times are we? Iran launched its first spy satellite in 2005. They didn't call it a spy satellite of course…

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4381436.stm

And this new Iranian satellite will also be launched by the Russians at the Plesetsk Cosmodrome north of Moscow. But by all means don't let that stop you from making paranoid assumptions about ICBM's and the second Holocaust.

You are obtuse.  Iranian leadership has repeatedly said that Israel will soon be wiped off the map.  Caligula's comments are realistic assessments about Iran's capabilites and stated intentions, not paranoia.  But you know this.
