I had NO idea of the power of this question. I happened to bring it up tonight and we might as well have closed the store. The heated discussion between employees and customers almost boiled over.

The concensus? Well, there was'nt one. BUT, thru executive decree COWBOY WINS!
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Pirate wins! Ninja dies in shark infested water trying to swim to ship. Cannons kill cowboy and his horse leaving behind used chew.

Thank you for the glimpse into your DVD collection 88... What movie was that?  Also...

Was the captions the only thing you changed?  I mean it seems so... well, so nothing for an "artist"   I can barely open my email and I can caption pictures.

cowboy wins.  even today, the single action revolver is the fastest out of the holster and fired first shot.   Something like hundreth of a second...  the ninja would not even have noticed that a thorn had gone through his slipper before he would be shot 3 or 4 times.   The pirate?  well... peg legs in the sand are not a good thing.

Soo if these guys were country reps I guess it would go like so.

Ninja= Rook sneaky always in the shadows or 30k above you dont know till its too late. Most likely vanish or run as soon as seen alone.

Pirate = Bish always quick to use machine power and cannon, overkill is a must and they totally vanish when ship is sank or vh is killed.

Cowboy = Quick to the draw and quick to burn ammo killing everything you can before leaving someone to catch the round when you run.

Hmm, maybe true..sorta. But it WAS before anyone else had the idea to govern themselves democratically.

In the years before the founding of democratic nations, pirates were groups of violent men in rebellion against the restraints of harsh rule and society. The pirate code helped them to live under their unique social contracts. Although the goal was still to have the quickest route to riches and leisure as the tyrants they fled from, code elements such as: equality, rules and decisions by group vote, just punishments, and division of power, contributed to the framework upon which democracies would later be built
