So carpet bombing Lanc, B17, B26, Ki67 and B24 formations would have happened in WWII?  Not to mention not ONE CV was sunk at the hands of a level bomber in WWII.  :huh

"gaming the game" is a very viable term.

99% of what happens in AH is not historical, so what?  We could go on all day citing examples of things that have happened in AH but never happened in RL.  Heck, I’m sure there are many who have more kills in AH in one type than that type scored in the entire war, so what?
AHII is a game.

What a pathetic whine...want some cheese with that?

Let's see, you can

a) Get in a gun and shoot the goons down before they drop

b) Up an Osti or M16 and kill the goons before they drop

c) Up any fighter and kill the goons before they drop

What exactly are you doing when you withness this?  Sitting in the tower?

I guess this must be the BoP reply to the increased ack designed to stop the type of game play which their squad is the paradigm for.

so you guys circumvent the player limit for squads and now you have figured out a new way to defeat the increasd ack put in place to discourage your practices of vultching and griefer play.

wtg.

have you guys ever considerd actually learning how to play so you don't need a ninety+ player horde?

a) Which gun shoots to 10k?

b) Which osti shoots to 10k?

c) There is a term called short term air superiority which may make it a bit difficult.

What exactly were you thinking when you posted that? Sitting in a tower?

Odd, I've flown with SHawk, and GV'd with him, never seen him do anything "gamey". Does he know how to work the scoring system? You bet. Does he know how to fly and stay alive? Sure. The reason he's number one is because he knows how to be, and makes the effort. You don't have to be the best to be #1, you just have to want be #1 and know how to get there. But you do have to be good enough to get it done, and you have to be liked well enough to get some help.

You missed my point, the point being those that carpet bomb in 1k buff formations "game the game".   Eskimo you missed my sarcasm.

was in cv guns trying to defend cv from suicide attacks. mornings i have to take wife and kid to school so no ttime for fighter sortie. After killing 12 ju88;s bishops come in ju87s and tbms and lone 10k goon, goon drops troops baILS AND AUTO ACK ONLY FIRES AT TROOPS. while ju87s and tbms only have to deal with me. this was used 3 times to ward off auto ack. Seen same thing at base 1 guy dropps troops 2 guys deack and cap.  to me its gaming game kinda of like some old gv bugs that got exploited. this tactic lets them use 110's to straf down ack on cvs. without ack shooting planes. its only use for 1 reason New ack kills so some decided to use troops to help them cause game to hard for THEM. Don't get me wrong i had fun killing 27 bishops while car warmed up. But pm's bragging on how they sunk cv were funny. because couldn't sink cv without gameing the game.

This one slipped by earlier.   He's number one because he plays the game.   Fly WITH him, your opinion will be different.   All of you griefers that pile on SHawk for his "rank" continually crack me up.

Last night I killed a goon over our cv at 10k. He never got to drop his troops did he? :D I was surprised to see this post as a consequence (?) so I have to ask if rods shade got blasted out of the sky last night?

Bishops arent the only one rod. In fact I almost never see a bishop in a goon they seem oblivious to your war most times.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

If SHawk, is ranked #1 then he’s “playing the game” as it was designed better than anyone else.  If you think that he’s over-ranked then your opinion of how the game should be played and scored differs from Hitech’s.  But so what?  There are probably at least 1,000 opinions on how the game should be played and scored.  In this game, Hitech got to make up the rules and scoring system; and rightfully so.  Yea, there may be a number of folks who could beat SHawk 1 V 1 or do a number of things better: so what?  Take from AH what you want, enjoy it however you wish.  If rank matter to you and seems like fun, however, then play the game as it was designed.  Jumping a mob of C-47s certainly wouldn’t hurt!

OMG!

Stench, where in my post did I say/imply that this is something a BoP does?  Where in any post was it mentioned that this was something the BoPs do or have done?

To the others who have responded to my post...I admit I missed the dropping at 10K part.

Rod, my apologies for belittling your post.
