In real life when the bombs were dropped, all bombs went, they couldnt pickle one at a time.

Could we make it more historically accurate by having this modelled in game please?

Sorry to dissapoint you Furball, but that's not true ;)
The bombardeer had the option to drop the bombs all at once or in salvo's
I'm not sure they could drop individual bombs though

In films/movies/pictures of bomb-drops, its often shown that the bombers drop all bombs at once, but this is due to the carpetbombing tactic.
It's not that they had no other option :)

Yes, you could select salvo back then.  

In real life, 3 bombers didn't go off to hit a target either by themselves.  

But I'm willing to compromise; give me an additional 17 drones to make up a normal 20 plane Bomber Group, so that three buff drivers can come close to the 60 plane Bomber Wing. and we can post a mission to try to come close to the 1000 plane missions that took place in real life, and I'll go for make ".salvo all" the standard in heavy bombers.

Fair?

In real life 1 pilot didnt control 3 bombers. Get rid of formations at all and if you want 20 bombers historical group find 19 more pilots for it. That would be fair.

I'd settle for shortening the leash on drones so that if you didn't maintain level flight at less than full power while flying a formation they'd go "poof" to stop the dive-bombing and dogfighting BUFF stupidity.

Thats cool. Just make runways crater-able just like in real life, and a real life like blast radius.

You will first who will ask for turning it off again ...after 9999 deaths in craters at spawn points made by friendly bombs.

And btw, in RL aircrafts didnt spawn right at end of runway.

If fix the bombers the first thing to be done is the guns all firing at one spot.  No way in RL would all the guns in a formation would fire at one spot.

Also make the bombsight harder to use to make it actually a challenge to bomb something up at 25k.

Methinks me sees a new forum game taking shape:

In real life: we'd have to taxi from the revetments to the runway to take off.

In real life: we'd have to sit through a briefing and debriefs.

In real life: we'd have to listen to our crew chief chew us out when we bring back his plane all shot up......
