This incident is nothing new...  It happens every night in the MA...  I just don't see how this is being constructive.  I've flown against pacerr for a while and he's a pretty stand up guy.

Ya might want to figure out a different way to handle problems on 200 (i.e- detune it) or send an email to HTC

Pacerr shot you down, you bailed successfully, you got mad, you re-upped, and rammed him out of vengance but your FE saw it as he colliding with you!  I think this has been hashed out before, but just because you got the "paccer has collided with you" message, in no way proves his flying caused the collision!  It just proves that your computer saw it that way, his may have seen it very different.   I got the "you have collided with" message the other day and the guy hit me from my right rear!

This is not correct.

All occasions where you collide happen on YOUR front end. Period.

Important to remember that "fault" (who had last chance to avoid the collision) is completely irrelevant in collision coding. All that matters is that on your computer, YOUR airplane occupied the same space as an enemy object (plane, falling bomb, whatever).

(Same in real life, now that I think about it. If it's the other guy's fault, you're plane is every bit as shattered as it would be if it were your fault.)

And in that sense, all collisions are to some major degree caused by what the highway patrol would call "failure to maintain safe distance." And that failure, folks, is always the operator's fault.
