I believe in the book and in the movie...They took the guns out at sea

Easy to tell which should come first IMNSHO.
How many sorties did the B-25 fly?
How many sorties did the A-26 fly?

The one with the most sorties should be added first.

New to the game, new to the site...I was checking out the list of planes, and was actually surprised to *not* see the B-25 listed.  I've learned the ins/outs of the B-25s my entire life, being as my grandfather was an armor for B-25s in the South Pacific...to me, the B-25 is *it*.  Anyway, I searched and saw that it was covered elsewhere, but a Doolittle Raid scenario needs consideration as well.  I mean, one of the first offensives in the Pacific theatre for the US, and one of the few bright spots in the early part of that conflict.  A direct assault of mainland Japan, think of the logistics back then...heck, even the Japanese dismissed the possibility of such happenings, which is why they dismissed sightings of US bombers from fishing boats and even from the populus over the mainland.

Sorry to go on, but the B-25 was pretty a pretty important piece of the puzzle...

If considering a perkable bomber for buff drivers to spend buff perk points on other than the Arado, the A-26 is a good choice.  Other than the B-29, which we won't see, and some German bombers with guided munitions, which we won't see, perkable bombers are very few and far between.

If simply adding another bomber to the plane set, a plane set that already consists of:

American: 26 planes including 6 CV-launched, medium, and heavy bombers as well as 6 vehicles.
British: 15 planes including 2 bombers.
German: 18 planes including 3 bombers and additional 3 vehicles.
Russian: 5 planes including 1 attack plane and additional 1 vehicle.
Japanese: 8 planes including 3 bomber/attack craft.
Italians: 2 planes.

There are many other notable planes that can be added to even up the planeset and support the SEA events, ToD, as well as the EW and MW arenas before the addition of yet another American plane.

The He-188, Petlyakov Pe-2, Bristol Beaufighter, Handley Page Halifax, Nakajima Ki 43 Hayabusa, Ilyushin Il-4 or Il-10, Betty bomber.   There are SEA and AvA (and possibly ToD) reasons to bring some of them in, among other planes that could be considered, which also benefit the few pilots that fly EW and MW arenas.

If looking to add a perk ride, I vote Invader.  If just looking to add to planeset; I vote add to other countries first to even things out a bit.

okay the only reason they ditched the guns and wieght cuz they had to launch from 200 miles thatn the wanted to. so all the extra wieght was ditched so they could carry more fuel. a b25 with less ammo and less wieght would not be required.
