Lmao!!!!   I've gotten ho'd from every so called vet out there Mark and I use the Ho as part of my ACM...instead of pretending like it doesnt exist.

Guppy said it perfectly...when a person turns away from a HO he sets himself up for the quarter snapshot...

Dan..its a great shot and i take it all the time...and yes it looks like a HO because in essence it is a form of one.  If anyone really doesnt want to HO then they shouldnt snapshot the guy who banks away from one....but the best pilots take those shots all the time...its part of the game.

And Mark..maybe im taking your comments a bit personally at this point...but the difference between vets like me and vets like you is that i may die to a HO, gangbang, vulch or cherrypick...but i wont fill ch 200 whining about it...or incessantly post on the BBS telling people "the right" way to fight...

Ill listen a bit more closely to your concepts of "class" when you quit pretending to be a role model who on one hand tells newbies the "right" way to fly and on the other hand posts "Skyrock OWNS  everything" all over 200/BBS. i cant wait for the next generation of pilots who do that...

(oh and bucky73..if your referring to me?  i stil have your DA films.  We can go again if you have questions about 1v1?:aok   those fights came after you got upset at me shooting your 262 down over your own field....and "no!"  i dont call you a poosie for that:aok )

To be honest, I am seeing a lot less HO shots being taken lately.

I am thankful that it is occuring less and less however and that folks seem to be wanting to test their ACM first.

I have to laugh at this!  Just what arena are you flying in????  I have to call BS on you Dan on this one, or maybe your flying in off peak times or something!  There are more HO attempts now than there ever has been, I am guessing because of the influx of newbs and the Friday night marathon of HOfights........errr  Dog fights, on the History Channel!

Lighten up Francis.

When was the last time you ranted on channel 200 about a HO?  or a lucky shot? or anything else?  I've heard thirty minute rants are not unheard of from you.

I didn't realize that I had cast a pale light on your ego.  Now that I know that you are an internet tough guy and so senthativth I'll leave you alone to beat your chest and call everyone else who doesn't fly like you names.

Guess we're just seeing different guys in flight :)

I've been surprised by it to tell the truth.  I expected the HO's to increase.  But I do think the different arenas have developed more 'community' as folks are talking more on 200 and seem more interested in the fight, at least when I'm flying which is generally after 7CST to midnight or so.

Last night is a good example.  I started Rooks and there was a good fight over the water between two bases.  Bish were outnumbered but I don't think I saw a single HO during any of that.

I went Bish to help with the numbers and was flying on the other side in the same fight.  OlDemon was up and about in his D9 as well as a bunch of the 4th guys in 51s.  I went nose to nose with any number of them and never saw a HO.  Guys were actually fighting.  Demon and his D9 was staying in there, duking it out with more maneuverable planes and never took a HO shot.  The only one I got in that fight was from some guy in a 190A8 who came in from high alt at light speed.  I saw him a ways out and turned off the guy in front of me and went nose to nose.  I didn't duck in time and he hammered me.

Later on I got HO'd one time by a Spit driver who then rammed me.  I was shot to pieces and all messed up but he went down after the ram so it was all good :)

Shuffler and I had a couple of good knock down drag out 5 and 6 v 2s in our 38s vs Spits, 109s etc and it was good old fashioned dogfighting with people trying to get the angles for the best shot instead of just hosing away from 2K out.

It was great fun :)

Wasn't talking about you but........... If you think u need to feel more like a man and go to the DA I'd be more than happy to "pump up" your virtual ego mister super pilot. .:rofl
If I got upset then unfortunately once in awhile I will get too involved and maybe type something that shouldn't be typed but when I logg off I literally "logg off"....could care less if I was killing or dying. 95% of these "AH fighter jocks" would puke on take-off if they had to fly one for real.

I just can't stand people that run around like tard's HOing and running like an idiot. If your gonna play, then play if your just here to "fly" around and run from any confrontation then go play MSflightsim.

I'm in here to have fun not log "pilot" hours. When I play I like to make it a bit challenging. Like I said before "flying a LA or spit around and HO'in the watermelon out of everything you see is like playing madden '07 on ez-mode and winning every game 207-0 and playing it for hours on end." that's just my opinion. I play madden myself and I'm pretty good at it but if i beat someone I don't write my mom about it. Just 'cause i rushed for 200 yards a game in madden doesn't mean I can do it in real life much like playing this game isn't gonna make me a "fighter ace".

I'm honored that you would keep films of me I feel like a star now.ty:D

You really are perfect for the BOP's.
1.  The difference between vets like me and vets like you:
* you have never stopped cheapshot HOing
* you still fly an la7 as your main ride, yet do no fighting in it
* you have been offered help on your acm's yet won't take the time to learn them (too busy HOin and runnin in ur la7)
* Don't have the capacity to differentiate between me calling out a HO dweeb and whining
*  couldn't hold my jockstrap in a 1 vs 1 duel
just to name a few differences

2.  When did I say anything about "class"?  I will help any newb learn the basic acm's and give him my time to allow him to better his fighting techniques.  I don't HO newbs, I let them know how they could have attacked better.  I take HO twits to the DA and kik their arse, then teach them how a skilled pilot fights.

Oh, and by the way, I own your arse anyplane anytime!  Never forget that!

Bucky is referring to four or five fights last night where he entered with more alt and lost everytime. The last fight in which he refers to as running to ack was after I had him beat gained E advantage but didnt have the fuel to fight anymore. I was literally E6B back to base and evaded at 30" for two passes while he made very sad attempts to drop me. SA isnt all about knowing where the bandits are but also what fights you can win when the fight is over and what fights you have already lost.

Bucky when we were 1v1 I was 10k below you and managed to equalize E and reverse into the lufbery. I learned too late that you are a guy that uses flaps immediately which is why every subsequent fight you couldnt hit me anymore.

But this thread wasnt about crying whiners on 200 (Bucky and Karaya) but makes a HO and what doesnt. I think the point has been made that some guys yell about things that just arent true. Both of you are quilty of that in that the situations you decry as being tactics to save a skin are merely moments in which a smarter flier killed you or a moment in which you held fast to flying stupid and got shot down for it.

Bucky most guys in here are a lot easier to kill. You had a hard time with me and I know you are frustrated. You managed to live much longer than most you are not easy to hit and your skill with a P51D is commendable but its no reason I should allow you the right to dictate terms of the fight especially when theres nothing you can do to stop me from leaving. Although I was feeling fortunate to have gained E on you toward the end it was probably due to only having a few pounds of fuel onboard. You certainly have no right to say I didnt fight you as we were engaged for quite a long time in fighter versus fighter terms. Most other pilots would have been dead after I reversed and made three gun passes on them. You shouldnt still be holding a grudge for your own mistakes in judgement though coming back at 20k plus after I and my squaddies had been over your field for so long was pretty smart. It was pretty obvious you wanted to kill me but you couldnt figure out how to do it or never really had the chance. At least your not flying a helicopter. Well done.

I think you do not know your arse from a hole in the ground when it comes to how to dogfight in this game,  I fight a fair fight, I give dignity to the fight, anyone can fly through a crowd HOing everything in sight(I will call them a HO dweeb)  I think you have major psychological problems! LMAO

Well i am perfect for BoPs! As i founded the squad in AH, i would have to agree with ya there!

Skyrock,

I have no idea what you mean by the fact that i dont fight in a la7...i guess you mean i dont fight like you want me too...our kills/hour on the stats are about the same and your favorite ride is a f4u1-C...so you essentially fly the la7 with more cannon and fuel...:rofl  priceless

On an upbeat note...skyrock does take time to help guys in the DA and for that i rarely pick at him....he helped me with ACM in the past and i am grateful....

Im sorry that his MA persona contradicts his private one...unlike other mouths, Marc (skyrock) is actually a decent guy at heart:aok

Wrong, my favorite ride is the F4U-1 and everyone who knows me knows that!  I take the C-hog up when there are more victims than the 1-hog has ammo!  I would always rather be in a 1-hog in a good fight!  I don't know where/how you would be so bold enough to compare the la7 and the hog in any variant!  I find that most people fly the la7 as their main ride so they can run!  Even the vets who take it up are taking it up for its speed!  I just always find it funny to see a guy over an enemy base in an la7!  LMAO!
