I agree with a lot of comments here. The chat on 200 can be quite entertaining to read, even though sometimes it seems to go a little far. When I recieve a , win or lose, it does remind me that there is a respectable person controlling that other cartoon plane, and makes my experience that much more enjoyable.
But a certain person has pushed the limit of harmless trash talk, and I would like an opinion on the matter. Here's the scenario, name ommited due to issue:
Myself flying alone out of quiet field to help fight off base cap.
Along the way, spot high con incoming to field.(myself thinking tasty bombers).
Change course to investigate, find lonely 109 or 190 (cant remember).
High con dives, I turn to avoid. He misses and extends.
I give chase for a bit, then think he's heading home, so I head back to intended destination.
He then returns, and tries same tactic.
I again avoid, but this time I am able to reverse and get on his 6 about 400 out. ( by this time we are close to deck).
Since I am now on his six, he now intentionally puts it in the dirt.
There's the "fight", now here's what follows:
I get a private vox message stating something to this effect:
"You know cutting throttle like that is going to get you in trouble. Me and my friends are going to find and kill you. Good Luck."
Now that statement could have been taken in game, or out of game. That is the issue here.
Now for one thing, you can type on 200 and call me every swear to sunday, and it is never taken personally. It is a game after all. but to vox something like that to someone seems a little over the line. Now this person has vox'd me before, but usually picking on what I choose to fly, or how I fly it, ect. But this particular vox, in my opinion, is on borderline of report. I'm a grown man, so I, myself, feel no threat whatsoever from this, but I know that there are plenty of younger folks as well as old, and I would hate to have someone of the younger generation get this message and really feel in danger.
Any opinions?
