The only drawback is that the saitek is pretty large. The stick itself is tall and takes a BIT of getting used to, but no biggy.
Also - the Hats on both of these sticks (ms and saitek ) need a piece of sandpaper glued onto their hats. I haven't done it on the ps33 yet as I haven't had a chance (and my rc glue is all dried up yet less than a year old!).
The ms stick with the sandpaper piece placed on the tip of the hat really helped me. I expected it to get worn out quickly but 3 months later it really still was just fine. Although I didn't fly every night or anything.
The Saitek WILL benefit from a sandpaper piece glued on, because the bottom thumb portion resting on the upper view or whatever you use it for, will cause the top portion of the thumb to need a bit more traction. At first, I hated the stick because of this - now that I use it as part of the integrated hat function - be it intentional or not : this was the BEST thing they could have come up with.
