I got called a cheater for landing Il2 kills in the town. My engine was shot out and couldn't make the field...wheels up belleyed on a road. Guy Pm's me cheater blah blah HTC blah blah. I siad "think about how you could land kills in a town". He comes back with "only on concrete" then proceeds to say it was his ploy to distract me from the fight. A Bish numbers guy again:rolleyes:

Sounds familiar. Think I've seen that... oh yeah, about 10 times a night for the past 2 months.

I especially like watching a certain someone in the LWMA play armchair general for an hour, then up a B-17, lose his drones within 30 seconds of takeoff, shoot all his ammo into the ground on his way to a furball, and then whine about how noone would escort his buffs.

My favorite incident of the past few weeks involved the Vox-call "Hey zip-code, if you're gonna keep flying straight and level, at least slow down so I can catch the guy crawling up your 6 after you die". He did (with a hilarious attempt to take a P-47 vertical with an La-7 thrown in for good measure), and I did. A good time was had by most.

2 week trial accounts, TA/DA only.

Pay for play, first 3 month's Early war arena the only one open to him.
Unless they can manage a better than 1-1 kill ratio. Then unlock.
Next 2 months let them play in Midwar.

If they havn't learned the basics by then they never will. So turn em loose & pray.

The real advantage to this system is they'd actually learn to fight.
No endless runs in la7's or HO everything in sight in nik.
They'd have to learn to cope with the early war planeset with all its limitations.

Then they can move up a step to midwar. More plane options, still no late war monsters. Still more lessions on actually learning to fight.

Plus the influx of all the new players into one area would make a very target rich enviorment.

And, it would teach them to work together to stay alive, to not kill steal.
