No. Just sitting here watching History of the World, Part 1 and it got me to thinking, which is dangerous when Kentucky Bourbon has been applied. Has any other comedian equaled his achievements? Maybe Chaplin, but his work really did'nt stand the test of time where Mel's has over an equal period, but that's debateable.

Look at the filmography:
(no IMDB cheating)
Blazing Saddles
Young Frankenstein
High Anxiety
Spaceballs
The Producers
History of the World, Part 1
Silent Movie
To Be or Not To Be (remake)

Every one of them a classic. He's a writer, actor, singer, dancer, songwriter, director, producer. That's a pretty damn impressive portfolio.

Sorry about the false dead pool alert.

Blazing Saddles...until There's Something About Mary, no movie ever made me laugh so hard.

Glad he's still tickin'.

I find Mel Brooks entertaining, but not laugh-out-loud funny.

I'm not a big fan of his movies at all...even Blazing Saddles didn't strike my funnybone.

you're probably thinking of "Robin Hood, Men in Tights"  he was the friar and he might have also been a producer or executive producer.
