They are the only company that can do the job! They would'nt be avoiding paying taxes on all that tax money they recieve now would they?

A tax break is what I'm thinking too, which in itself isn't a sinister plot.

Contractors are tax-free up to a certain dollar amount every year while working in theater, but I don't know about the companies that hire them. Anyone?

Clinton did. He hired them (without bid) for Cosovo and that area after that war.  OH! never mind, it was ok when he did it.
