Dunno how much time I'll spend in Germany as a proper tourist, we're visiting family there.  I'll be in Westfalia, specifically in a town called Verl (just outside of Gutersloh).  I lived there when I was a kid, haven't been back in 12 years.

We have a rental car, though.

If you don't have an interest in the wacky tabaccy in the 'red-light district' that only leaves...

Hey Chair, gimme a call when you get back, let's get our wives together!

The Van Gogh museum will steal a few hours of your day if you're into that (last time i went, they had an extra building dedicated to Monet & Manet), good stuff.

Check out for an area called "De pijp" in Amsterdam, full of trendy bars, good night life!

Stay away from cheap solid. If you don't want to smoke plastic: stick to the salad :)

Heading out tomorrow morning, should be fun.  Forgot to get my International Driving Permit, hope it's not an issue, we'll see at the Hertz booth.

Wifey and I have gone through the thread, for ideas, thanks!  Diablo, roger that, heh.

I'm sure they'd be raised in a fine, upstanding, and overall efficient manner.  :D
