BTW, I've thought about it and I won't be releasing full results between rounds.  I don't want the early round results to influence future votes or make the final round anti-climatic.

They don't do it on American Idol either. ;)

The only problem I have with this voting schedule is that most of it is during Easter. I'll be on vacation most of that time.

Looking at the discussion thread about the choices, I can figure out the last 4(with the odds that these will make it to the final four).  They will be; G-55 (2:1), A-26 (5:2), P-39 (3:2), B-25 (5:1).

First round will see eliminated the 410, 111, Brewster( Sorry Finns, I wanted this one too, HAAKKA PAALE!!! ), Pe-2 or Tu-2(they don't tell you wich.  That ambiguity will hurt this choice, and added to this it is a bomber.  Bombers have usually got the short end of the stick when it comes to "Fighter" Sims.).

Next round will eliminate the Yak-3, and the Japanese "Mystery" Fighter(again the abiguity of wich they will model will eliminate it from contention, besides there are a couple of "dogs" in that choice.[Ki-44, and Ki-45])

Next up on the chopping block the B-25. (Sorry guys, a  light perk bomber is going to win out here.)

Beyond that, my guess would have  the A-26, out the next round.  Bombers are low man on the totem pole in this community, and fighters will generaly get more votes than bombers.  The only reson it will get this high in the vote is because of the large American voting block.

My prediction for the Final selection P-39.  Edging out the G-55s firepower with the dominating American voting block/home court advantage.

Look on the bright side, a new plane will be added to the planeset.  And those who think they were short-changed can begin now crafting their complaints.  :D

Also, :aok to HTC for doing it this way.  Makes for fun times.

Last week....

Mr. Aarno Siro presents a 1:4 scale model of the plane he flew in the summer battles of 1944:

Brewster model B-239 "BW-384" White Seven:

Another Brewster fighter pilot, fighter ace Colonel Väinö Pokela:

Brewster BW-384 is credited with 18 aerial victories.

A plane worthy of modeling. :)

The only known surviving "Buffalo" is the Finnish built "Humu". Tail number HM-671

However as of March 23rd, 2000, a Finnish Buffalo, BW-372 was recovered from the bottom of a lake in Russia.
