What's your favorite plane from the other side of the iron curtain?

Mine is the Tu-22M...a beastly thing.

Il-28 Beagle......

It's just got that other-worldly mix of WW2 and post and has a bit of modern "sleek" thrown in, to boot!

MiG-25 Foxbat. Their 'Heavies' are ugly, but at least the 'Frogfoot' is sexy, AND big, AND powerful.

Pardon me? THAT does NOT look like a MiG 31, and that is NOT a MiG 29.

Bull*****. Im sorry, but this is something I DO know.

MiG-29 'Fulcrum'

maker: Mikoyan and Gourevitch

Air Superiority, ground attack. One of the newer aircraft to the soviet fighter fleet.

MiG-31 'Foxhound'

maker: Mikoyan and Gourevitch

High-Speed Bomber-Intercept

Oh, also, I forgot for my vote, in addition to the frogfoot, after seeing it in a calendar I though this one was sexy:

MiG-25 'Foxbat'
