i tried downloading the terrain editor the other day the link was broke

supposedly theres a lot of changes to the terrain engine coming up or somthing but after that dust settles i am considering undertaking another main arena terrain project. 256x256 is what i origionally wanted to make my maps as but they wouldnt let me. had to make em 1024 x1024.

so if its 1/4 the square milage that makes it a bit easier on the map maker

That's like a post a year.....

Last years post was;

"I've been playing 13 yrs. We need some new maps or I'm outta here. Shame to cause I like this game."

and the year before;

"I've been playing 12 yrs. We need some new maps or I'm outta here. Shame to cause I like this game."

14 years and still the need for two o's in too when substituting for 'also' or 'as well' escapes him.

I occasionally complain about the maps too but, back in the days of AWI you only got 1 Europe map and 1 Pacific map. Somehow I never got bored with them. I guess we're spoiled now.

Just wondering how long do you have to be playing before you can come in here and post BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH or im outta here...

Im certainly not there but would not want to do anything against proper BB protocol in the event I feel the insatiable need to whine and threaten HT with my whole $.50 per day..

Each 1 mile sector now has 4 1/4 mile tiles. While I've worked on a map (still Skuzzy's queue), I didn't try anything with the tile editor. THAT's where the fun will be.
