14 forward firing .50's!  Turn on tracers, spend perks for the drones, and you is a one player frame rate killer anywhere you go.  You fire.  They don't just explode.  They Disco!
Strange, the current plane set has holes big enough to fly an A-26 through...

I have to say, "no". Imagine when a bomber really does scream past Krusty, and when he posts about it in here, we wouldn't be able to laugh at him. Do you realize how bad this would be for morale?

For this, and several other reasons, I have to vote against the A-26 at this point in time.

Mosquito FB.Mk VI:

four 20mm Hispano Mk II and four .303 brownings in the nose and 380mph.

Sorry, I'll take the Mossie.

Oh yes, the Mossie has about 10lbs/sq.ft. less wing loading too.

I'd like my Mossy's FM fixed, with the CG moved where it should be.

i think this plane would be the most fun out of all the other choices.:D

This was more than an Attack plane.  It operated as a level bomber.  Dropped it's ord over target (pathfinder A-26C's and A-26B's mentioned above).  THEN went low to attack targets of opportunity with many cannons and rockets.

A flight of 3 A-26C's would be a great penetration bomber to hit dar and ord at many fields.  A single A-26B would do great against GV's, ack, or as a bomber destroyer.

Why kill half it's mission abilities?

And, there is NO WAY HTC would add this plane without a perk price.  Which is fine, buff drivers can really use another perk ride in this game.  But no way this would get in without a perk attached.

I do agree with it being the most fun plane on the voting list.  The 'Vader could do many things very well.

Pyro has commented in the past that there are only two or three bombers yet to be added that would be perk bombers if added.

As follows:

B-29
A-26
Mosquito B.Mk XVI

Because it isn't a new airframe.

And I have VERY serious doubts about B-29 being practical, despite bomb load, and high altitude abilities, and nook crowd......

Could a properly modeled B-29 even take off from the runways in this game?  Loaded, they weighed about twice what a Lanc does.  I'm betting most would get hung in the trees unless the field tiles and maps were redone to support them.

Mossie doesn't carry 6,000 lbs of bombs.

Viking, a Mid-War plane with high altitude abilities, good flying performance, and armed with 3 X 20mm X 200-250 rpg, plus 2 X 12.7mm X 300 rpg did not make the FIRST CUT.

Apparently what a planes' capabilities are are not a factor in the voting.

Me 410 hasn't a prayer.  I could certainly live with getting the Me 410.  Far more than the He-111 or B-25, which is how I think this is leaning.

As much as I hate to do it, it is looking like the P-39 is the next plane.  The biggest gap we have left is the Early/Mid War Russian plane, which is really what the P-39 is.

Mossie usually doesn't have any bombs when I use it.

A-26 would be the same, no bombs usually.

Mossie is also out of the fighter hangar and the A-26 would be out of the bomber hangar.
