Chances are strong that either B-25 or A-26 will have a solid nose, and no drones.
I'd expect the A-26 to cost perk points, and one of my big arguments is for a plane for buff drivers to be able to spend buff perk points on, other than the Arado, so allowing drones to create an even larger buff perk point economic sink has merit. The drones would increase perk price 3x for a flight.
The drones also allows the Invader to be used as a level penetration bomber, much like the Ki-67's (but costing perks). It's a versatile multi-role plane, why limit it to only half it's abilities?
Secondly, the typical mission profile of the Invader was for every six planes in a mission, 1 was a A-26C pathfinder with it's norden bombsite, and 5 - A-26B's with gun heavy solid nose. All planes would drop with the lead pathfinder bomber, in a level bombing attack. After they dropped their ord, they would normally drop down low and look for target of opportunities. Even the A-26C's had 8 forward firing .50's for strafing, and they all could carry up to 14 X 5" rockets.
Third, since the only real difference is the nose configuration of the plane, if the A-26 Invader was added, why not both B and C? It just comes down to a few nose guns and access to norden bombsight. You could "fudge" by going just solid nose,
with norden to compensate for lack of pathfinder bombers, and allowing drones to facilitate the use of the Invader as a penetration level bomber, but I'd much rather see both B and C versions.
Need an Invader with bombsight and drones for level bombing abilities of the Invader. Whether this is a C-model or a B-model with a site means little difference to me. And the majority of Invaders built (and retrofitted during the war) were the A-26B with 8-pack in nose and six wing guns, and is the most popular version for use in the game by 'Vader luvers.
Solo A-26B Invaders also have their roles. Ground attack. Bomber destroyer. Deack fields. Vulch. Solo CV killer.
Then just adjust the perk price to what works in the Arenas.
