American P-39 and Russian P-39.

If we get P-39D (American version) and Q (Russian version), will the Russian P-39Q be modeled based on Russian specs?  From what I know the Russian P-39 spec was stripped of excess fat and luxury equipment.  The russian model ran higher boost that allowed them to compete with 109s/190s.

Yes, you are right. When we, Russians, removed leather seats, wood finishing and home theatre P39 added 20 mph.
Another 10 we got when removed bathroom.

I think making the outboard gun pods optional on the Q would be enough.

Just remember that the Americans flew the N and Q extensively, both in the MTO and SWPA. It was also flown by the RAAF, Free French and Italians.

P-40Ns were equipped with radios. All US fighters were fitted with radios.

Who cares?
Lentotaitoahan minulla ei koskaan ole ollut - vaan eipä sitä taida AH'n kaltasissa airquakeissa paljoa tarvitakaan. On toi reaktionopeus ollu aina aika heikko.
