If my entire squad switched countries every time the ENY was in the crapper then the ENY would shift with us... What's the point?

For me the game is about the people... Switching would stink for me...

If your whole squad alone is responsible for ENY, you are steamrolling an underpopulated arena anyway.

switch sides...problem solved.

the game is about flying with other people...there are people on all 3 countries...it doesnt hurt to fly with them.

if you cant switch sides for what ever reason you decide to make up...quit whining...you made your bed, sleep in it.

I like that, to me right now the ENY is not needed more.

I have played from the 2000, and when the ENY was added I thinked "is a BS", I am paying to fly is not my fault if X or Y contry got less numbers than my country but ok, is a level system.

U say "u can change country if don like the ENY" but then, what is the point in this game? the point is bout team play your are in this country cause you like to fly in this country, with this people...

By me is simple with this multiple arena system we don't need more the ENY, taking off the "full arena" is goin to be great.

I have thousands of perks after just a few months, only flying the Tempest on occasion. Using myself as an examply, I could fly perked planes in 3 to 1 odds for ages before it actually effected me. For the folks who have had their accounts for ages, they would probably never really be effected by the perk cost, and therefore using a perking of all planes instead of an ENY limiter simply wouldn't have any effect.

Then again, the horde realizes this, and that is why they continue to ask that it be done. Take Killn's advice.

I was flying a Hurri MKI the other night defending an airfield and we didn't even have ENY in effect when I started. Later a squaddie couldn't get the plane he wanted because ENY had taken effect so I told him "That's why I'm flying a Hurri I... ENY hardly ever gets to 40".

Seriousy, there's plenty of good planes over 20-30 ENY. Either grab one or switch sides or switch arenas. If ENY has you down it's because you choose to fly with the overpopulated side and you haven't delved deep enough into the plane set to find a suitable substitue for your regular ride (try it, you might like it).

I understand why you would want to fly any plane you wanted. But why would you want the freedom to fly against no one?

In AH, you have something no boxed sim can give you -- real people to compete against. Its the difference between playing the AI in a Madden football sim, and playing real football outside.

In pickup football, would you really whine so much if your team had 10 players, and the opponenets had 2? If you were one of the 2, would YOU have fun, or would you even keep playing?

So why would you not want to fly against opponents? Because thats what ENY is about. Its about "teams".

And comparing AH to ww2 is, well, stoooopid. In here there are bases that change hands when you have TEN little unarmed troopers glide into a maproom. Supply lines are essentially irrelevant, and there's no limit on either your available weapons or the NUMBER OF LIVES YOU GET.

Are you seeing a pattern?

So ok I poked the hornets nest with a really sharp spork from Taco Bell here. I am one of those people that refuses to change sides. I like the people I fly with (not just talking about squadies either). Ultimately its the people I fly with is why I play. Not to mention endless jokes about sheep. Reflecting back to last night, it really wasn't the flying of the TBM vs. P51D, I often fly the P40. I love the P40. I think I was more frustrated that we were defending a V base with M16s and Jeeps from a dozen 110, and a repeated round robin of bombers. ENY isn't so bad usually on the larger maps, (we were in orange with the map that has large mountain in the center). So with that being said, frustration brought it out of me (not to mention gf nagging to go to sleep) I will never say anything about ENY. Instead I'll say bring on the A26, and the Sherman.

I like the idea of adding perk cost to fly when you outnumber others. I also understand how it might now work since many have been flying for ever and it might not make a difference.

I was thinking that greatly reducing the points gained from kills when you greatly outnumber others and greatly increasing points gained from kills when you are greatly outnumbered may be more appropriate for everybody. Just a thought.

I dont like the idea of changing countries at all. I mean think of it.. I spend several hours or days even, working with those online with my country trying to coordinate with both fronts and what ever is going on trying to take bases and win. Then just as my team is about to land the sledghammer blow to win the war we should all change sides to support the enemy to thwart our efforts to win the war.

Sounds too much like our current Congress to me.

I mean to me it's like the Colts sending their best players over to the Bears in the last 5 minutes of the game to help the Bears out cause they are losing. Just dont make any sense at all to me.

But all in all it's not really that bad to me. Just an annoyance you have to deal with in the game.

I don't know if it applies to ranking/scoring points, but we do have the perk multiplier, which increases perks earned by the outnumbered side(s), and decreases the perk costs for them, while decreasing perks earned, and increasing perk costs for the side(s) with the numbers.

I see it more as a kickaround in the park - some guys turn up and you try to even the numbers. You don't have 40 against 10, you have 25 each.

ENY is a good system, althought it hurts buffers moreso than fighters in my opinion.

It's really tought to compete when one side has a great numerical advantage, and youre on the low end!
