when i set my main gun view up zoomed and save it like i do for all my tanks, the unzoomed view shows a side view with ur face up against
the armor ring where barrel passes through the turret.

commanders MG position defualts every time to pointing backwards also.

I didn't get the mg pointing backwards Whels.

However, I  drove into the sand and and around and around I went. No visual other than the sky and ground. Turned off the engine, changed position. Continued to spin. Eventually had to end the sortie.

As with the pintle gun on the Panzer and Tiger, the gun automatically faces backward (vs to the left in the Panzer and Tiger) when you move from the hull to the gun position.  If you move from the gun to the turret then back to the gun again the gun maintains it's past orientation.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
