It used to be called Discovery Wings. And AAolds you might wanna give up and hide under a rock for a while because the Sherman Firefly did not have a flamethrower. I have seen almost every program on the military channel and the history channel and have seen the sermans with flamethrowers but they arent the fireflys and they didnt call them that on TV eather. Your just assuming that because the firefly has FIRE is its name that its the verson with the flamethrower on it and your wrong.

Hehe I asked Aaolds in the MA today if he had seen any fireflys with flamethrowers latley.. he said yes.

It went downhill from there.

I dunno if he is as i am on another chesspiece.

Doesnt matter now, just dont threaten folks or go completly overboard because someone sais "lol" or "rofl" Aaolds.... I actually thought you were kidding for awhile there until you and your mate lost it completly.

Ive tried to be accomodating, I have not at any point claimed to be completely 100% right on this matter.  I agree that online research does not confirm this.  If I find facts that conclusively answer this matter, Ill post it and eat my crow with it, until then, im done with the matter.

you are 100% wrong about this. There was a serman with a flame thrower but it wasnt the firefly. You will not find any research that will prove you right. Yet there have been a few people that posted links proving you wrong.

After bugging my Uncle more about the matter (cost me a 6 pack, well worth the cost), he  confirmed that his tank was not a "firefly".   I had heard him wrong, his tank did have a flamethrower as he was on Iwo Jima and he said that it sure did make the fire fly on the Japanese.

I WAS WRONG.  Now go back to having fun or I'll be wrong about something else.
