"When I think back, on all the crap I learned in high school...."

I just bought a 2007 Mercury Milan three weeks ago and it comes with a Free 6-Month Sirius sub. which I will be renewing.   This is how radio should be.

Its funny how a song like that can be implanted in your memory.   There are certain songs that when I hear them can instantly take me back to when I originally used to hear them on the radio.  I remember the weather, the cars, sights, things I was doing, where I was going.  Kodachrome, Live and Let Die, Diamond Girl, Summer Breeze, Delta Dawn, Bad Bad Leroy Brown, You're so Vain, American Pie, Seasons in the Sun, Year of the Cat...  theres a whole bunch of them and the all seem to fall in and round 1971 to 1975

the same here airscrew.  I can remember the first time I heard the cover by led zeppelin of the 1920's blues classic "when the levee breaks".  I remember exactly what I was driving, what the weather was and where I was going.  I suppose it's a common enough experience though.

Iron Horse has a couple of great bluegrass tributes to Led Zepplin and Metalica.

I think "Levee" has gotten me more speeding tickets than any other... with "Heroes" coming in a close second. :)

I get the same thing, Airscrew... it's amazing how a sense memory can be triggered like that.
