Gents,

With my HD down I really can't even look to see where the HQ is and make adjustments let alone get online and correct oversights on my part. I am trying to recall, but I don't think HQ is going to be a real problem.

Soda thanks for setting this up. Np with A21. :) You guys make adjustments as you see fit.

Thought I'd have a look at this one, see if things had changed, guess not.

D-DAY +90 = so guessing early Sep 1944.

190D9 - Jan 1945

No Spit 16 (LF IXe) - Jun 1944
No Tempest - Apr 44

So yet another -
crippled allied planeset v a "yet again lets put in it ealry" LW planeset.

And you wonder why you can't get guys in, SHEESH.

If I'm wrong I'll apologise, but I'm not.

2TAF flew a mixutre of Spits, but mainly LFIX and LFIXe (XVI), so I guess your saying they didn't exist.
Basically you've just done what the Germans couldn't, eliminated the most flown Spit of 1944.

The D-9 at our boost was ready to be deployed end of Dec 1944, so wouldn't have seen service till Jan 45 at the earliest.
So you've just introduced it 4 months ahead of time.

Dunno whats worse-
The fact you still like to advertise the AvA as historical, or the fact that some of you seem to believe it.

Something constructive -
Maybe if you actually do make it historical, you might get some more guys to try it out. (not that I expect it to happen)

As much as I despise getting in an argument on the intardnet my suggestion would be to either A) see if you can join the staff and help with the scenarios or B) participate even if you don't like the set up and make constructive suggestions on how to improve them.

Respectfully yours,

Respectfully yours,

Give it up, Dicho.  So far as I know, Kev367 rarely, if ever, comes into the AvA.  You could let him do the setup himself, and he still wouldn't come in for more than an hour a month.  He is the epitome of a dog in the manger.  Periodically he will look in, find that an enabled airplane is either a month too early or a month too late, declare that no one flys in AvA because it has not even a remote connection to history, make fun of the staff for being self-delusional imbeciles, and prance off to cleanse the next chapel.  I assume from his opening clause that we should be grateful that he has deigned to take a look at Daddog's setup.  I, for one, am not.  Frankly, I am sick and tired of his nasty little-dog yapping, and I urge him to simply stay away from the AvA, give his self-important lectures to small, ignorant children, and fly in the more historical Main Arenas.

Truth hurts doesn't it?

Yes when the AvA was 'reborn' I did come in quite a few times during the initial RPS setup, until I realised all that changed was the name.
As did most other people, and they left also.

1 hour a month, your being generous.

Constructive? OK here goes -

2TAF had 14 (ish) LFIX and IXe in 1944, in fact they made up roughly half of 2 TAF strength.
The LFIXe is the same as the XVI, so enable the XVI.

2 TAF also contained some Tempest squadrons, so enalble them also.

The D9 was at best Dec late 1944, morel likely Jan 45, so should be disabled.

Constructive enough?

What you have at the moment is basically saying that 2 TAF which was setup specifically for the invasion was 'missing' around half its force.

RGR that Old

Kev

I retract anything that might have offended you in any of my posts as you are obviously an expert and I am flying bait.  I hope you take this in the spirit in which it is intended.

Warmest wishes

No problem.

It's just I know my Spits.

I just find it incredulous that almost 1/2 of 2 TAF's fighter strength is mysteriously 'missing'.
Given the fact that 2 TAF was SPECIFICALLY formed for the upcoming D-Day invasion.

Even if was decided that XVI shouldn't be used as a stand-in LF IXe (which would be a ridiculous decision, they are the same plane with the motor manufactured in different countries), it would still be around a short time after.
If they are 'willing' to introduce a D9 4 months ahead of time, there shouldn't be a problem with 1 or 2 months, should there?

Probably a lot of people who still don't know or realise -
LF IX - 1943 with 303s
LF IXe - pre June 1944 with 50cals
Both with Merlin 66

XVI - Oct 1944 Merlin 266 (Merlin 66 maunfactured in the US, 2 meaning manufactured abroad)

Spit XVIs and LF IX came off the same assembly line side by side.
Only thing that decided whether it was a IX or XVI was where the motor that was fitted, was manufactured.

As I said.. see if you can join the AVA staff and make changes.  *shrug*

Sadly I couldn't trust my connection enough tonight to get in the air.  Big storms in N Texas.

Bummer :cry

Kev367th is a runner and the epitome of lame game player, a totally repugnant personality. he should be a BoP as he would feel right at home with that group. I was warned via PM by another player that he is also the father of one of the higher ups at HTC and that I might find myself banned from the BBS and the game if I called him names.

LOL, you are so full of it.

I think you actually believe that pile big brown smelly doodoo.

Me a father of one of AH higher ups LOLOLOLOLOL.
Where do you get this crap from. (even Truekill would tell you its crap)

A quick look at the BB and the numerous run-ins I've had with HT would show this to be a pile, just like the rest of your 'statement'.
Sorry Storchy your credibility (what was left) has just vanished in a puuf.

Maybe one day you'll enlighten them to whole running incident, HUH?
The co-alt A6M and you in your F4-U4, what 5-6K higher?
Me in a climbing heavy Tiffy for the CV.
How I drug you to the deck and you were DUMB enough to follow.
Then tried to rope me, LOLOLOLOLOL.

HUH?

Is it really true you only open your mouth to change feet?
Must be, some-one PM'ed me in game (allegedly) and said it was.
