Krusty, why must you make these incorrect statements so often?

The F8F-1 was in squadron service on carriers when Japan surrendered... Sounds like a WWII plane to me. Didn't get into combat in time, but it was, in fact, in service.

I'm not aware that ANY F8Fs saw combat in Korea. It had already been replaced by the F9F-3 by 1950. Most F8Fs were flying in reserve units by then.

Maybe they'll develop the film viewer instead. IMHO it's more important than another plane right now.  And the ability to develop offline missions would be excellent.

< I know, I know, the Aces High Film Viewer didn't fly in WWII, but we really do need a competent one all the same>

The argueing of points re aircraft that saw little or no service at the end of the conflict on the basis that it would be neat is wasted in my opinion.

Neither the F8F or the Meteor III warrant representation until after so many other aircraft that did play significant roles and would be fun additions are added.

I still wonder why the Ta152 is in game.

HTC have already provided us with a list! and "we" have provided its priorities it goes

P39
A26
Yak3
Me410

plus of course the ongoing "upgrades" and series enhancements under way.

Amazing how plane requests always follow the same pattern..

1. Has to be american, even though its one of the most complete nations
2. Has to be rare, even though there or some extreamly common planes from other nations missing.
3. Should preferably be post war, even though this is a ww2 sim

Please stop.

Why do people that have only been on the boards for a few months post the stupidest things.

I.E. The planes that they "want to see in the game" that ALWAYs has they same 1946 planes. Or V1, V2, subs, or even worse they want AH to be a FPS.

Heres an idea if you are new   Click Here .

Because every month there are new people who spam the BBS with "new ideas" that have been posted a thousand time and it gets old. There was jsut a vote first one they ever did, and it will take them atleast two months to make the B25. I would guess if they ever do one again it would a a month or two after that. If you would post reasonable panes or GVs I wouldnt have a problem with it but if you did a search you would know where I'm coming from. Everytime new people want new planes they list late 1945 planes because "they would be kool or fun to fly" and don't do research when they do this.
