It was a sad, sad day indeed when General Lee was umemployed.  In an act of desperation he agreed to do a ricer movie only if he got to wear a black ninja outfit and kill himself at the end of the movie.  Thankfully, emergency mechanics were able to save General Lee.  A few short years later he was able to work again in a big screen movie he didn't have to hide in.

there was not one Dukes of Hazzard car, there were lots of them because they kept busting them up on the jumps.

Any of you check out the new series on Fox called Drive?

That is one sweet Challenger R/T. My best friend had one with the  383 magnum back in high school in the early 80's. Was one screamin machine. Gotta admit it would eat my 70 Firebird 400 for lunch.

Yeah, that Challenger is a beast. Makes me wish I was born 30 years earlier.

Over 2 million and counting and for that you get a car with doors that don't open. ;)

Seriously though, I always loved the General Lee as a kid and dreamed of owning my own late 60s/early 70s muscle car - Charger, Camaro, Mustang Fastback, until that is I discovered Fiat Spyders and Alfas and E-type Jaguars. Then my tastes changed decidedly in favor of European ragtops.

Having tried to maintain 2 Fiat Spyders in running condition for several years, I think I'll take the Charger now.
