Everybody gets shot down sooner or later. Once that happens you have two routes you can take.
1. Take it like a man, remember it's a game, give a or remain quiet grab another plane and get back in the fight.
2. Whine on 200 about Spits, HO's, Alt Monkeys, or any other possible excuse causing you to get shot down to sooth your ego.
Number 2 seems to be the way to go for many. Number 2 has spawned the AVA dicta .
1. HOing in a Luftwaffe bird like the 110 is acceptable.
HOing in a Hurri II is not.
2. In an ETO setup it's a crime if a lot of guys are flying spits.
In a PTO setup it's acceptable if a lot of guys are flying N1k2s
3. If a group of Axis planes are lurking right off an airfield attacking
people at a lower alttitude, that's acceptable.
If the Allied guys wise up and come from a rear field with alt, they
are alt monkeys.
4. The Allied planeset must always be carefully edited because certain
model types are too hard to fight against.
The Axis planeset must include every possible model available for the
time period. To include jets, and rocket planes.
5. If you shoot me down it's because of your superior skills.
If I shoot you down, I'm a HOtard, Alt Monkey, Spitdweeb, or any other
Jr High excuse that will ease your bruised ego.
Like I said, it looks as if things are getting back to normal.
