I have seen other online games  in which children were using horrible language that even I wouldn't use (after which none of my sons have been allowed play).

There have been only a few times that I've heard blatant cursing on here, usually on the weekends, late in the evening.

I appreciate very much that most of y'all have enough class to use appropriate language.  I do let all three of my sons play on my account occasionally, and I know they appreciate it as well. ;)

And then how many of you would leave your kid in a room full of hundreds of strangers UNSUPERVISED??  In case you didn't figure it out yet...thats what you do here!!  SO use your head!!  There is a slight possibility that in a room of hundreds of strangers, your child might be exposed to something they shouldnt be!!  So who's at fault, the hundreds of people that are in the process of replicating WAR, or the idiot that leaves thier child unattended in a roomful of hundreds of strangers??

I would say this is most definitely a family oriented game, Sir.  I absolutely let my kids get on here and replicate war (yes, even the strafing... and yes, they get a 'woot' when they get kills).  What greater people could they emulate than those great WWII heroes?

Since the majority of AH subscribers are adults I wonder where the youngsters parents are?
Maybe the parents should be monitoring who the children are playing with. Maybe the parents should make sure the youngsters know how to use the radio so they can squelch or subscribe to channels that dont have adult language.

Those great WWII heroes died for our rights....One of em happens to be FREE SPEECH!  So in tribute to those great heroes i say:

{funny thing is whatever i want to say here will be censored, ironic isn't it?}

No disrespect intended, but FREE SPEECH is one of our rights, and like the ol' bumper sticker says "**** HAPPENS"  Your kids probably say worse behind your back than anything you've ever heard (or read) on AHII.

....Lighten up dearie....i was tryin to make a point to those who leave thier child unsupervised in a room full of strangers. Did ya get that part?

Uh-oh here comes the KGB...

Too bad Free Speech has zip to do with what a private company chooses to allow or not allow to be said in it's game.

This is true, but the point being, this an environment w/ hundreds of people, and hundreds of personalities.  There will always be somethin said that isn't right for kids (and some adults).   Everyone needs to be understanding of this (myself included).  So if u hear somethin (or read something) u don't like, jus wait a minute....someone will say something else and it will be in the past.....But letting your young kids play with hundreds of strangers, then YOU are ultimately responsible for what YOUR kid is exposed to...

As anyone on the BOP channel knows…. Whenever somebody says a cuss word, a (virtual) quarter is put into the (virtual) “Potty-mouth” jar. At the end of the year we are going to use the money to have one heck of a (virtual) party!
My password at work had to contain exactly 8 characters… I chose Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

the average school child aged 14 will hear far worse things in the playground than on aces high, imo.

I'd been chasing girls for 4 years by then. Pretty sure no conversations about sex could have shocked me at 14, and my (and my peers) grasp of profane language undoubtedly exceeded your own by then as well.

It's their parents' responsibility to look after what their kids are exposed to, not mine. I'll continue to talk about getting drunk, stoned, and laid. If that's a problem for the squeakers, perhaps their parents should take a look at what their kid is up to?

In conclusion, you and your shades BB's account can suck a fat one.

AH is becomming Terrance and Phillip!!!!!!  :rofl

Maybe we should have "Age" arenas, instead of EW, MW, and LW.. this way the kids can have their own little "play room".

But you sir, to come here, and have the odasity to post about this, in a shades account, says volumes about the type of person you are. You better hope people don't find out who your are, or you'll be flamed for life lol.

I understand your "concern", but reality is kids now have worse mouths the 98% if the "adults". Not to be a jerk, but for those who doesn't like the cussing because they have kids who play, or even sit their and watch them, should A: tune off vox, or B: get a headset.

The argument that "the kids are going to hear it anyhow" or "they already know it" is a terrible excuse for doing it, though.  It's a bit like saying, "Banks are going to be robbed anyhow so we might go ahead and do it."  You can be part of the solution, or you can be part of the problem.

Like it or not, kids are impressionable.  How do you think they get this way?  It's by hearing it wherever they go.  The more people who make the choice not to do it is the more chance kids have of turning out more polite.  Choose to set an example.

And believe it or not, there are still kids out there whose parents care about what they watch, play, or hear.  The two BG (Blue Goose) players have such parents.  They're well-behaved and their father does not want them hearing cursing.  I comply with a no-cursing rule on my private server.  I know that if I had children, I'd want them to play Aces High because flying is a good thing but I would not want them hearing foul language.

Our Birds of Prey are totally out of control.  Falcnwng is talking about sex and body parts and Dystve is saying the F word in every other sentence. Or the discussions/references on getting stoned or drunk.

Even on this chat forum, this clown Karaya (who I understand is an adult) is cursing and carrying on with most of the posts.

If you don't think this a problem, ask VansCrew or Allied how old they are, not to mention the even younger "squeakers".

In this age of the internet, you are being recorded and screen shots are taken.  I word to the wise..... clean it up gents.

All children should drop out of school, smoke copious amounts of marijuana, have unprotected sex and drink alcohol while smoking unfiltered Camels. Having a good xxx porn on in the background and / or listening to rap with filthy lyrics is also a plus.
