I see foul language in your posts, that peanuthead you have for your first signature.

And a note on squad channel, if you mean channel 4 I'm with ya, if you mean a #-ed channel you pick then it's not really 'squad channel' right?
I know that effects large squads, wish they could somehow join chennel 4's together.
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

My advice would be to change to a squad that has players closer to your own age.

"Our Birds of Prey are totally out of control"

-Then leave them.

If you find vox offensive (and sometimes it does get that way) with kids around use headphones.

There is also a squelch command. Use it.

Not defending bad behaviour (there is lots) but you have to be a bit proactive. If you see something really beyond the pale, send HTC a copy.

Posting here will get you nothing but grief, especially if you point to specific players, or grps.

Regards.

Yes, "Red Channel".   Sometimes I may give out a "*****" or a "damn" if I cannot clear someone on "numbered vox" if I'm winging with friends (they cuss).  I'm a competitor, I will cuss, but I will NOT, do NOT, have NOT, PM folks.   If I hear someone cussing over range, I'll say something appropriate and ask them to please try not to do it.

FireHwk, Pieper, BBBB, and a host of others have vox tuned me and started cussing me out.   It's sad that some have to take this game seriously, and not just live life.    Some have cussed at me while my 5 year old son has been sitting on my lap.

"You flippin eejit! Don't you know how to give a check six? Now I'm dead and it's all thanks to you!"

Me: "Was a little busy pal, in that 3 on 1, with a pilot wound."

"What the flip did you say?" No, I don't flippin care! For flips sake! Flip off!"

Sounds like the same person (who shows up in Bishland every 6 months with a new player id) I encountered this morning while defending a CV in battle with nme CV, from a PT boat. This guy drives into a 3 v 1, dies and begins screaming at everyone within range for not Check 6'n him.

heh. stay away from New York , New Jersey, or Philly.
In the words of Lewis Black

"The F word there isnt a cuss. Its a comma"

In all seriousness though.
From what I can tell. Most of the kids I hear on vox are around 13 & up
If anyone thinks your average 13 year old. I dont care who he belongs to doesnt use this kinda language regularly. They are delusional

Any kid 10 & up who doesnt hear this kind of thing regularly either on TV or in public. Has to have been locked up in a cave somewhere.

THAT being said. do I condone it. Not really.
I personally dont do it
I save my profanity spewing for after I've thrown my headset across the room. which usually sends every liveing creature in my home with an ounce of sense for self preservation scurrying to the opposite end of the house. which works out well for me because it cuts down on the wife/kid ack with is commonly the indirect cause to begin with (spend 9 minutes doing nothing but flying to a location only to be "Dad/Dear"ed the moment I am in a fight. which in turn will distract me just long enough to get killed) LOL never fails
 In any event
Even if I were concerned about what comes over Vox..(which Im not) I wear a headset so only I can hear it anyway.
I only started wearing one not cause of the profanity. But because the wife got tired of the house sounding like it was in the middle of a war zone with all the machine guns and explosions.

In any event. I hear it on occasion but not really all THAT much that it would be an issue to me even if I were worried about it.
and I realise there is no way you are going to get rid of it in its entirely.
Its ok to want it that way
But
Its just an unrealistic expectation

Now I understand that not everyone shares my views on the matter.
In which case HTC has a nifty little dot command and utility that can be used to report anyone using exessive profanity or innproperite material
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

I have seen (and heard) a .ahf clip where karaya burps over his squad vox channel.

The tone, pitch, duration, and upward inflection of the belch clearly shows karaya's lack or respect for the AH community, his disregard for the eardrums of the younger players of the game, and his propensity towards clubbing baby seals.

I feel that it is HTC's responsibility to ensure that I am never subjected to the gastro-intenstinal noises of any player. I also feel that I should be protected from people who drive by my house that play music with profanity in the lyrics while I am playing Aces High. Roadblocks please. Furthermore, one time I heard over my very own squad channel a member's pet bird chirping in the background. No more of that. No more birds....period.
