heh. stay away from New York , New Jersey, or Philly.
In the words of Lewis Black
"The F word there isnt a cuss. Its a comma"
In all seriousness though.
From what I can tell. Most of the kids I hear on vox are around 13 & up
If anyone thinks your average 13 year old. I dont care who he belongs to doesnt use this kinda language regularly. They are delusional
Any kid 10 & up who doesnt hear this kind of thing regularly either on TV or in public. Has to have been locked up in a cave somewhere.
THAT being said. do I condone it. Not really.
I personally dont do it
I save my profanity spewing for after I've thrown my headset across the room. which usually sends every liveing creature in my home with an ounce of sense for self preservation scurrying to the opposite end of the house. which works out well for me because it cuts down on the wife/kid ack with is commonly the indirect cause to begin with (spend 9 minutes doing nothing but flying to a location only to be "Dad/Dear"ed the moment I am in a fight. which in turn will distract me just long enough to get killed) LOL never fails
In any event
Even if I were concerned about what comes over Vox..(which Im not) I wear a headset so only I can hear it anyway.
I only started wearing one not cause of the profanity. But because the wife got tired of the house sounding like it was in the middle of a war zone with all the machine guns and explosions.
In any event. I hear it on occasion but not really all THAT much that it would be an issue to me even if I were worried about it.
and I realise there is no way you are going to get rid of it in its entirely.
Its ok to want it that way
But
Its just an unrealistic expectation
Now I understand that not everyone shares my views on the matter.
In which case HTC has a nifty little dot command and utility that can be used to report anyone using exessive profanity or innproperite material
