Anyone else been a fan throughout the years?

Wondering if anyone has any series finale predictions over the next two weeks?

Personally, I hope the show goes off the freaking deep end and Christopher comes back cleaver style and kills everyone.

A bloodbath would be approriate.  And fun to watch.  Kill em all off I say, and make the irritating ones die horribly.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

There will be an all out war between Tony and Phil. It will be old school, mob war car bombings and drive-by's of the capos and their crews. The Feds will tell Tony the 2 arabs were Al-Queda and tied to BinLaden. He stopped an attack on New York.

Meadow announces she's pregnant, getting married and going to UCLA for Law School. AJ winds up with the blonde chick he saw pulling her hair out in the metal ward and runs off to Seattle.

Tony and Phil have the final showdown and Phil's little loudmouth minion blindsides T in the fight. Tony is laying on the floor, blood flowing from his head barely awake. He sees Phil standing over him with a loaded pistol. Phil makes one of his stupid jokes and T tells him to F off. Phil pulls the trigger.....

Tony wakes up in a bedroom confused, he stumbles into the steamy bathroom where the shower is running. He opens the shower door and out steps the Russian chick he had an affair with 10 years ago.

He suddenly realises the whole thing was just a dream.

I bought the first 6 seasons on DVD, been watching em this month. Got about 5 episodes of season 6 left to watch. The first 5 seasons had a flow to them, the first 3 episodes of season 6 I was wondering what happend? That flow was gone and it really showed how much of that series revolves around Tony cause the rest of the cast in the lime light looked quite pale in comparrison. Can't get HBO in Iraq so I'll just have to wait till I get home to watch the last season...

I don`t get it.
One of my daughters was a virtual cheer leading section for this show when it came out. At that time I was tripping across the country hither and yon and wasn`t going to pay the price just to catch it every once in a while. So...........I now have the dish thingy and I get all excited about the Sopranos.
I was waiting on the first episode like a dog waiting for Alpo.
Show comes on ........first ten minutes I`m going OK, OK it`s just getting warmed up. Twenty minutes in I`m yawning thinking It will get up to speed any minute. Forty five minutes in I`m in boredom beyond description. End of show I`m simply WTF.
Tried watching it a few times and found it is about as exciting for me as watching the paint dry.

The Sopranos is a show you definitely have to know from the start. I missed the first two seasons before I started watching regularly. It took me a year or two to really understand the show. Now, I love it.

Having said that, this last season has been pretty droll. I hope David Chase has something special cooked up for the last 2 hours, but I wouldn't be surprised if it played out like I predicted.

Yeah 88, I miss Deadwood too. *#@%suckers!

YOU !^$% SUCKING MOTHER *$&(@ER PIECE OF $&*%, BAST8)D *($^.

Ahhh....Deadwood.

And yea, Sopranos has really gone down hill IMO.  The director/producer/writers are trying to make this an intelligent show, when reality is, all the fans want to see is people getting killed.  Theres some cool symbols and connections than are applicable to the entire series, which is nice...But like I said.  All I really wanna see if Tony Soprano standing over another goomba, with his jersey accent saying you *)^)* *^)*_(.  BANG!

The Sopranos --  As The World Turns for testosteronites.  Yeah, it's had me from Hello too.

The Sopranos and their ilk are such creeps. Hopefully the last episode wipes 'em all out, like Orkin does vermin.

But odds are they'll just continue turning on each other.  Not enough for fratricide, just enough to leave a couple survivors for a sequel.

Their appeal is so transparent.  Everyone who has trouble playing with others can relate (BANG) to the Soprano (BANG) Solution (BANG BANG).

We study our enemies to survive them.  And oh the lessons we learn from The Sopranos.

Sad that the greater general society can't seem to stomp 'em out for the greater good of all good citizens everywhere.  Would be too much to hope for something like the shadowy FBI trackers finally gunning 'em down at the Okay Chorale.

That would be Elliot Ness and a different series.

The best ending would be the conflicted shrink, lying in a pool of her own blood after Tony finally snapped at her answering his questions only with more questions, feebly mouthing her last words, not supplicating the Great Beyond, but true to her profession to the end: "Now, how do you feel about what you just did to me?"

Then Tony slipping on her blood, crashing through the window and crushing his clueless family who have thrived on his banditry and extortion.  Wipe out the whole DNA for a real finale.

Can't wait for the sequel!

Well, gotta admit this last season is rather a letdown.  I suppose a whirlpool of grim is natural to lead down to the finale.

Big mistake plotwise is having the son in tedious shrink sessions like his father.  Having the son's shrink male doesn't even add any sexual tension.

Both kids continue to cause Tony problems, and they cause fights between husband and wife.  Pretty realistic, huh?

Probably most interesting is watching the pack cool as their alpha's power wanes.  Still careful to defer, but they clearly sense a change is imminent.

A buddy of mine suggested that Tony is going to flip for the FBI. At first I thought "NO WAY!" After thinking about how self centered he is though.... It could happen. The ultimate let down.
