Ive gotten two since Ive enlisted now. First one was sorta small considering it was my first. My second I choose because it represented the Navy and my rate community in the Navy, the aviation group that is. The symbol as a whole represents a Aviation Boatswains Mate, which is a airmen/seaman that does not hold a specific rate/job. But as I didnt finish my A school yet I figured I did not deserve the right to get my future rate symbol. Besides, hardly anyone outside the Navy knows what the rate symbols are. Also, I really dont care what people think of it, I love it no matter what.

Heres my first. Its on the left side of my chest.

Heres my second and newer one. On my left arm. (Thumbnail)

Got a bunch of them.
That`s some nice shading work you got.

I have at least 30. But I don't count. Check the link in my sig, not all of my tattoos by a long stretch. But some of them are in there.

So when do you take them off of that white piece of paper and put them on your skin?

Like the ones in zebra gum? The directions are usually on the package. I think fruit rollups have a kind that come out on your tongue.

This is my newest (and even it's quite old 4 months or so), again i'm just going to post the link as it's already hosted and I don't want to resize/upload again.

-edit- how big are they? I'm not a real huge fan of smaller tattoos, don't much like tribals either. -edit-

One on my chest is about 3 inches all around. One on my arm is about 4 across and 5 tall.

Its in my background. Growing up in buffalo give you a forever farmers tan. Its slowly going away tho. Wearing long sleeves, pants, boots, and hats all day dosnt help either.

Unusual name for an American. Are you perhaps of Scandinavian decent? Or perhaps an expatriate?

Wow, really? Well, in the same location on my body (my butt) I have a tattoo that says "Exit Only, yield to oncoming traffic"
