Tattoos are not for me, but to each his. The gasoline remark came to mind when my freind dino had a flaming bowl of gasoline kicked into him in 1976. He was horribly disfigured. Tattoos, I just relate it with permanent skin damage. That's how I feel, I have none. Sorry. I was 14 that year, kids do stupid things.

I have no tattoos either. I dont see the purpose of them.

No piercings either.  Dont understand the point of either one of them

Classic line from Life of Brian comes to mind...Brian tells a huge crowd that they can think for themselves and that that are all individuals, at which point they all chant in unison "Yes!  We *are* all individuals".
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

meatwad actualy agrees with me. Ladies wear ear rings. Personally I do not understand why a man would. Howie Mandel for instance. To me he appears to be pitching a commercial for MR CLEAN (TM). Look at me look at me. It makes no sence.

Nope. I stated how comical it was and it was an added plus. If someone makes a snap judgement that I am a bad ass, as you put it, then I wonder what other snap judgements they make about other people. Only people I care about one way or the other is those that I get to know and those that get to know me.
Let`s face it, it is a judgement based on................the color of my skin.
Coming from you, it is pure Irony.

It is only irony if i were to be making a judgement about the color of your skin. I am in fact making a judgement on your stated reasons for having a tattoo. It may be subtle, but it ain't the same thing.

I can`t help but get a kick out of the ones who will be strolling down the aisles of some store in their best looking for a way to help society uniforms and glance up to see me coming from the other direction. Gasp! Disdain!

Whatever floats your boat. Just be more attentive to the things you call irony. I do not think it means what you think it means.

I don`t have a  tattoo. I have many.
Whatever you are reading into whatever you wanted it to mean to you is fine by me.
My tats are for me, nobody else.
If someone is that shallow so be it. I could care less. It just points them out easily.
