Ok Bailey, if you really need help with your critical reading skills:
"No further action was ever taken nor was the investigation continued, despite the fact UBC was caught red-handed operating a American shell company for the Thyssen family eight months after America had entered the war and that this was the bank that had partly financed Hitler's rise to power."
This most directly supports that statement. It's commenting on the funny circumstance that the directors in charge of UBC, Bush included, were never investigated.
Another statement that nicely comments on the nature of my argument:
Quoting Loftus:
"You can't blame Bush for what his grandfather did any more than you can blame Jack Kennedy for what his father did - bought Nazi stocks - but what is important is the cover-up, how it could have gone on so successfully for half a century, and does that have implications for us today?" he said.
This is, of course, only one easily found source. There are many others, but if you need help reading them you're going to have to find someone else. I'm not going to waste my time as a tutor.
